"Y/N, wake up. You are going to be late on your first day!"
I rub my eyes for a moment and pull the sheets off my body, great. First day of school and we have to wear these lame ass uniforms, right now I can wear normal clothes since I don't have the uniform. I looked through my closet and pull out a oversized black long sleeve and ripped jeans with a pair of vans.

"Alright mom I'm heading out" I say giving her a kiss on the cheek. I have to get the keys of my dorm from one of the student council members, I share one with this girl named Yumeko, huh.
Whatever, grabbing my board I make my way to the school.
[Time skip to school]
Damn this bitch is big! I laugh to myself popping my skateboard up from under me. I'm a little early so I'm going to pick up my uniform and my dorm keys. I start walking to the sign that says 'student council office'.
"HA! You're a mittens"
I turn my head to see 3 girls laughing at a girl with long black hair, I walk up to them, curious to see what's going on.
"What's going on here?" I say, resting my hand on my board that's propped upwards. The girls stop laughing and turn their attention to me.
"Ooh hey there" one of them perk up while biting their lips.
"Snap out of it- anyways. This loser-cat lost to the student council and is a mittens now" The girl on her left says.
"And that is?" I say quirking up my brow. I haven't noticed that the black haired girl has been studying me all this time, sheesh.
"If someones a mittens, then we get to bully and boss them around." The other explains.
"That's super fuckin' lame" I chuckle a bit on how silly that sounded, bullying someone because they're poor?
"Yeah, well that's how the president created this school. Now can you leave? We need to make her life miserable."
"Yeah I don't think so, you guys can leave now" I say boredly and blew a loose strand of hair out of my face. I turn my attention to the black haired girl.
"Are you alright? I'm Y/N." I say extending my hand out to greet her.
"Yumeko" she says after a long silence, and takes my hand in hers.
