I have unpublished this book for a week, because chapter 2 got deleted, and I needed to write it back again. So please read it again, I've tried to make it similar to the old one, but it's been to long since I wrote it, so I forgot a little. I won't be uploading a lot because the next two weeks are filled with finals, homework and projects. Then summer yey !

Once we finished Lydia ordered to the Shadowhunters who where with us in the room, to search Clary's room for the Mortal Cup. I left to look for Izzy. I don't know how she felt that I read her fling's head.

She was looking at the monitors with Jace. I walked to them.

"Hey guys, I'm sorry."

"It's okay you couldn't really lie." Jace said before he left.

I looked at Izzy." I'm sorry I looked into your boyfriend's head."

"It's okay, I understand, it was really nice for you to ask for his permission, I really appreciated." She hugged me.

"Jace told me about your bond with Alec, my brother is an asshole, I'm sorry you got stuck with him." She rubbed my back.

"Yeah, I'm sorry for myself too. Now I can't even tell him. The guy's just trying to save your family's name. When he said that he liked me, I thought that, that..."

"Wait he told you he liked you?" I just nodded. " Wow he doesn't express his feeling very often, I mean never... Why didn't tout tell him about this ?"

"I wanted to wait for the things to calm down, I wanted him to fall for me, not be with me because we're supposed to. Now it's too late, he's engaged. When did my life become so complicated." I sighed and leaned on Isabelle's shoulder.

Jace had come back and told us he convinced Alec, to let Clary give the Cup to the Clave. At least I knew he wasn't completely losing his mind.

"Where are you taking him?" Izzy asked Alec and Lydia. Meliorn was handcuffed behind them and two guards were grabbing him by the arms.

"To a holding cell. And a guard unit will transport him to the Silent Brothers." I read her mind to see what they were planning to do to him. While the guards led him to the cell the "fiancés " came down to our level but didn't stop walking.

"You can't do that." Isabelle protested and we all followed them.

"It's not our decision, Isabelle.The Clave made the order." Alec explained of course, The Clave wants this the Clave wants that, blah, blah, blah...

"That could be a death sentence to a Downworlder." Jace states, if Alec knew this why wasn't he doing anything.

"Are you trying to start a war with them? Meliorn's told you everything he knows."

"You don't know, that maybe we haven't asked the right questions. Seelies often skirt the truth." Lydia stated.

"I was literally hearing everything he said, I told you he was saying exactly what he was thinking, it's hard to hide your real thoughts."

" If he has information on another terrorist attack, it is our responsibility to get it. Look Emilia it doesn't concern you, this is between Shadowhunters." She said with diplomacy, that bitch... my hands started twitching with the mist as my eyes were going from my green eyes to red and back and forth, she was really getting on my nerves.

"Ok listen you little piece of hmmm." Jace covered my mouth and I glared at him.

"Let me talk to him." Izzy pleaded and I looked at Alec, he was already staring at me, he had a slightly concerned look, he had eye-bags and looked tired to.

"That wasn't exactly helpful in the past." Lydia commented.

"But he may not know anything." Jace tried to convinced them with his hand still in my mouth."Alec, this is going too far."

"We don't have a choice." He looked at Jace, he's worried face gone and replaced with seriousness.

We called Magnus and when he came to the Institute we explained him everything.

"So I read Lydia's mind and the transfer is taking place at midnight by the Downworlder entrance to the Silent Brother tunnels. I'm sorry guys but I won't be able to participate, I still need to learn what I am, and the Clave is the key to that. " I told them and the Shadowhunters nodded.

" Alec said that they didn't have a choice and neither do we." Jace finishes.

"Let me get this straight. You need Alec's stele to open the safe and you want me to steal it from him?" Magnus asked.

"We prefer the word "borrow"." Jace corrected.

"Without his knowledge." Izzy finished and I nodded.

"No. No can do. Not happening." Magnus started walking but Jace stopped him.

"Magnus, ever since Alec found out our parents were in the Circle, he's been messed up. He can't see the big picture."

"If the Clave is willing to subject Meliorn to the Silent Brothers, if they're willing to go this far... what do you think will happen if they get the Cup? This affects everyone." Izzy declared.

"Help us get into that safe. Help us stop this." Jace pleads.

"When Alec realises what he did, it will be late and he will regret it all his life." I told him.

" You three are going to owe me. I'm talking 14th century. Gold, rubies... definitely diamonds. And Alec can never know."Magnus accepted.

"That's a given." Jace said.

"If we're going to do this... there's no turning back." He warned and we all liked at each other.

"Well, I still need you to do a thing for me." Magnus said looking at me directly.

"What?" We all asked.

" You're going to have to distract Alec while I steal Alec stele and put it back." My mouth falls open.

"Nope not me, no can do."

"Oh come on." Jace groaned.

"Why can't Jace or Izzy do it?"

"Because when he's with you he's guard is down." Magnus explained.

"Well it is too with them too." I pointed to the Shadowhunters." Izzy is his sister and Jace his parabatai for crying out loud. He's engaged, I can't be in a room alone with him." I argued.

"With you it's different, he's entranced by you as you are with him. He can't resist you." Magnus said like he explained it to a child.

"Oh yeah, then why he going to marry another girl?" They all groaned at my stubbornness.

"He may be showing a little resistance, but you'll see when he stops he won't get enough of you." I rolled my eyes.

" Please do it for me, we can't let Meliorn down." Izzy pleaded with puppy eyes.

I sighed"Ok, just for you and Meliorn."
What did I get myself into?
