"Gray, wait!"
Gray stopped in his tracks and smiled at the sound of Stephen's voice. He turned around and saw Stephen running towards him, as expected.
"Gray...." Stephen huffed and puffed. "I got.... a gift.. for you..." Stephen handed Gray, who was as confused as can be, a small white box. "...Really? Why? Is it my What's the special occasion?" Gray asked as he furrowed his eyebrows.
"No, I've just been wanting to give you this for awhile now so I decided I'd give it to you now!" Stephen explained to the smaller boy in front of him. Gray also noticed that he was blushing ever so slightly. Even if it was small and almost unnoticeable,it was still a blush. Noticing this made Gray start blushing too. Which he tried to hide by looking down at the box.
"Open it, I thin- I hope you'll like it!" Gray was confused, but not enough to ask Stephen what was going on. He opened the box and inside it was a small piece of paper.
He picked up the paper and hen realized it had words written on it. Gray read it aloud to Stephen as if he didn't know what it said already.
"Look up." As the paper asked, he looked up. "What does that me-" Right then, he was cut off by warm, soft lips touching his.
She. He pulled away, he smiled.
But then he started fading away.
"Wha-" Gray was cut of by the sound of his alarm clock. Waking him up.

"Ughhh" Gray groaned as he sat up. His face was stained with tears from last night. Which was not new, by the way. He got out of bed, reached for his home and checked the time. 6:27. Great. That would be just enough time for him to get ready for school.
He didn't want to go to school. He just wanted to stay in bed and mope. But if he did that his mind would wander to other places. He didn't want that even more.
Gray put on his uniform and went into the bathroom to put on a base of makeup to cover the dried tears.
As soon as he was done with that he ate breakfast (which was always very small, since he didn't have that much money.) He checked the time again after that. 6:56. School didn't start until 8:00. What was he going to do during the 1 hour and 4 minutes he had left?
Gray sat down on a chair and sighed. He turned his gaze to the large kitchen knife that sat on the counter. He immediately got up from his chair, picked it up and put it away so he wouldn't have to look at it anymore. He doesn't need reminders of his past right now. He sat back down on his chair and started to do random shit on his phone. When 7:40 comes, he'll leave.

When Gray walked into his classroom, he was greeted by Eugene, his desk mate. Gray weakly waved at his friend and got out his math notebook.
People glanced at Gray with fear in their eyes. They were scared of him. Everyone was scared of him at this point. Except Eugene, Ben Alex, and Gerard, of course. Well, to be honest they are scared of him sometimes, but that doesn't matter. They were his friends. At least that's what Gray thought. He wasn't quite sure if they liked him, actually.
A couple minutes later, Ben and Alex walked in with confidence on their faces
"Hey Gray, when are you free today?" Ben was the first one to talk, which was not surprising. Ben has always been he more extroverted out of the two.
"Uhm, I'm free at 5:30 to 7:50." Gray looked at his calendar just be sure, and when it was confirmed, Alex spoke. "Great! You wanna play pool during that time?"
Gray opened his mouth to speak, but closed it again as if he changed his mind. Eventually after some thinking, Gray finally spoke. "Sure."
"Nice! You up too, Eugene?"
"Uh, yeah, I'm free."
Sweet. I'll ask the other guys if they want to come, too. Bye!"
As soon as they left, Gray instantly went back to his notes.
