Thanks to Zeichenlily for kinda giving me this idea. I don't know how to write long scenes for this particular topic (no spoilers) so enjoy this short thing.

~A few years later~

Willie met up with his sister and Chloe regularly. They caught up on what had been happening in the past years. Willie eventually introduced Alex to his sister and they hit it off which was a relief to Willie considering he loved Alex and wanted him and his sister to get along. He did overhear Grace giving Alex the shovel talk and could help but laugh.

But that was all a while ago. Now, Alex and Willie were engaged and planning to have a small wedding soon. Since they were still ghosts and only people they had a strong connection to or that Julie had a strong connection to could see them, they couldn't invite too many people. Willie decided that instead of sending a mail invite to his sister, he would just ask her in person. She still didn't know they were engaged. She had been so busy lately with her job that she wasn't able to hang out regularly with Willie than usual and he was okay with that.

Willie stepped up to her door, Alex in hand, and rang the doorbell.

"I'll get it!" They heard Chloe yell and a second later, the door opened.

"Uncle Willie! Alex!" She launched forward to give them a hug.

Grace must've heard because she came walking towards the door. "Hey, you two. What's up?"

Grace led the two inside, Chloe following close behind. They sat down on the couch, Grace and Chloe sitting across from them.

"Um... we wanted to ask you guys... if you wanted to come to our wedding." Willie said smiling.

Grace and Chloe's eyes went wide. "OF COURSE I WANT TO GO TO MY BABY BROTHER'S WEDDING!" Grace screamed.

They all stood up and had a group hug. They were all smiling. Willie gave them the date and the place.

Alex and Willie's wedding day came faster than expected. The wedding was beautiful and everything they could have ever dreamed. Then there was the reception. Since it wasn't a large wedding the two didn't have to be approached by so many people saying "hello" and "congrats" to them which helped Alex's anxiety.

Chloe and Grace approached the newly wedded couple.

"You two look adorable," Grace said.

"Thank you." Willie and Alex said at the same time.

"I can't believe you're my uncle. Uncle Alex. I can call you that, right?" Chloe was practically jumping up and down.

Alex giggled. "Yes. You can call me that because you're my niece now."

Chloe's squealed and gave Alex a hug. "I love you." She said. It was the first time she had ever told Alex that. She didn't want to get too attached just in case Willie and Alex had broken up for some stupid reason.

Alex melted. "I love you too, Chloe."

Willie couldn't help but smile.

"Okay, Clo. We better leave them so they can see everyone else." Grace said.

"Okay. I love you, Uncle Alex and Uncle Willie."

"We love you, too," Willie said.

It was a couple of hours after the wedding and everything. The newly wedded couple were laying in their bed in the apartment they shared. Willie's head was laid on Alex's chest.

"I can't believe we're married. You're my husband." Willie said, softly.

"Yeah," Alex let out a breathy laugh. "If it weren't for you pancaking me on that sidewalk, we probably wouldn't be here right now. And that would suck."

Willie giggled. "That would suck. I'm just glad we're here. I love you."

"I love you, too... husband."

Willie smiled and turned over so that he was face to face with Alex. They stared at each other for a second before closing the gap. The kiss was soft and wasn't rushed. It was long and sweet because they had all the time in eternity.
