Although the two were fast asleep, Toby resting into the only motherly figure he had ever had, fast asleep in Eleanor's arms, Todd had been awake, although not for long, yet he still had so much on his mind as he stayed awake. Where were they going to go after this? He still wasn't sure what they should do now, should they stay and try to rebuild their lives to avoid suspicion? Or try to get away as soon as they can, and laugh it off as coincidence? He didn't think he had it in him to stay in this place, it was filled with horrid memories, memories that were now keeping him from going on in his life.

Then there was the question of Eleanor. Was she right to have kept the truth from him? Would he have been happier if she told him the truth? He doubted it. He knew that knowing Lucy was in that state would for that long would drive him to madness.

Todds mind began to linger on Eleanor, the way her soft laugh always made the darkest of jokes so light hearted. The fact she looked so kind, yet would mutter a comment that would make the hair on his neck stand up.

Perhaps starting to explore his feelings for her would be good for them both. But for now, their main focus had to be on keeping them out of trouble with the law. If anyone suspected them, if the law found out, he couldn't stand the fact that poor Eleanor would be punished for his desire for revenge.
