this oneshot is ONLY in English & similar to alternative universe of "07: suhaag raat" but RaghVi's wedding happened without the Deshmukhs's approval
After twenty days of their marriage, Raghav and Pallavi had come to accept their fate. They both realized that despite the misunderstandings and hurt they've given each other, they are still married and have to maintain a civil relationship. While being cool-minded around each other, they each saw good traits in one another. But, their history and hate for each other overpowered that. They mutually agreed that they wouldn't argue in front of others but there were no limits in the bedroom, when they were away from outsiders' eyes.
Their arguments, which had mellowed down to half-hearted disagreements with one another, had started again when Amma had brought up the topic of a honeymoon for the couple. It got even worse when Amma informed the two that she had already booked the plane tickets for them and they had to leave the next morning. Pallavi, not wanting to hurt Amma's feelings and considering how she was only going to stay for ten more days with the Raos, decided to follow-through with Amma's wish. On the other hand, Raghav needed more convincing. So, his mother ended up explaining her reason to him. She told him she wanted Pallavi to feel happiness again and taking her away from the hostile atmosphere of the Deshmukh parivaar and the somberness of their current house would help Pallavi return to her old self.
Soon enough, the two were on a flight to Calangute, Goa. Raghav had a luxury villa there and used to go there every time he needed a break from his world in Hyderabad. But ever since Saree ka Dukaan came into his life, he never had the peace to even think about relaxing. So, when given the opportunity, instead of taking her to Paris like his mother suggested, he decided to take her to Goa. He figured she would like the hustle and bustle of the domestic Indian life rather than the romanticised Parisian one. So he cancelled the tickets his mother bought, not caring about whether he couldn't get a refund, and booked two tickets for a flight to Goa.
Within the first five days of their stay, Pallavi and Raghav avoided each other like the plague. They would eat their meals at different times, visit different beaches, roam the city by themselves, basically do anything to not have to interact with each other. But soon that got boring for Raghav. He started missing his complaint box, Mrs. Raghav Rao. Before he used to appreciate the relaxation that his villa in Calangute provided but now, he despised it. The silence irritated him and everyday he looked forward to the possibility of running into his wife.
After the third day of silence, Raghav started staying inside the villa more rather than going out. If he was lucky, he'd catch a glimpse of his wife heading out the front door or walking through the bountiful garden with earbuds in. She seemed to be thoroughly enjoying his lack of presence. She even discarded the sarees she wore and started dressing up in airy kurtis and churidars, and knee-length summer dresses. At first, he was glad that she seemed comfortable enough around him to change her entire wardrobe but then he noticed she also went out into the city dressed like that, with her mile-long legs showing underneath those summer dresses. It wasn't him that influenced the change but rather the change of environment that did it. His amma was right. The old and modified Pallavi had reappeared...but she was still ignoring Raghav. And, Raghav didn't take this lightly. He too wanted to be acknowledged by her while she preferred to talk to the gardener, the cook, the maid, even the houseplants!
