I met you,
At the crack of dawn
When the sky was fluorescent
And all the world still lay quiet

I had you,
Until dusk
When the earth starts to settle down
And all the colors
Filling the atmosphere turn to death

I was with you,
When all lights shut off
One by one

Leaving nothing but darkness
And the light from the stars
Glimmering down on us
As we sat on rooftops watching
Life go by

I loved you,
Until all the happiness from my life
Seemed to drift away
Leaving nothing but gloom
Yet you seemed to be
The only thing that made me smile
Even through the darkness
You stuck by my side

I left you,
When I stopped dreaming
The day we said our final goodbye

I wanted you,
To hear me at night
Hoping and wishing for
You to come back to me

We met again,
When the world ended
When all that was left
Was fleeting moments
From a life that once was

We stayed together,
When we sat hand in hand
As the stars went out
