Building on Fire

'' What are you doing'' Jarod said.

'' I'm going to my bunk, I have to hurry, Mrs. Shaw doesn't like to be disappointed.''

Molly's POV

I had to hurry up and get my camping journal before class. We put everything we learn in there.

''Molly''

''I know I am late but, I had to get my journal.''

''Sit down, your staying after class.''

The worst thing was, was that she said it in front of everyone. I don't care if I have to stay after class, it happens all of the time. She just didn't have to embarrass me!

*RRRIINNGG!!!*

''have a nice day everyone.''

The bad thing about Mrs. Shaw is that she is really gremlin looking, and she always gives me the stink eye. Usually I have at least one other person that has to stay after class in here with me, but this time I was alone.

'' Molly I need to talk about your birthday.''

''My...birth...day?''

''Yes-sssss''

''Are you OK?,why would you want to talk about my birthday?''

''You are ssssss-special.'' She says with a mischievous smile.

At this point I was about to start believing in the snake disease thing Ana was talking about.

''Mrs. Shaw why do you keep making that hissing noise?''

''BECAUSE YOUR MAKING ME HUNGRY!!!"

Mrs.Shaw no longer looked like Mrs. Shaw, she looked like a bat-snake-dragon made out of leather.

''I AM LITHIAN THE CHIMERA!!!!!''

She swooped down at me and still no one could here me screaming or the flapping of wings. I was feeling mixed feelings about this, I've always loved mythical creatures, but not when they are trying to kill me!

I was running outside now, into the forest, ( the camp is in the middle of no where.) As I was running, her and her heads were following me, stomping down trees, and breathing fire inches from me.

''YOU CAN'T RUN FROM ME CHILD,AND WHEN I CATCH YOU , YOU SHALL DIE!!!!''

I didn't have a very good response to that just,''AAAAAAAHHHH, AAAAHHHH!!!''

As I was running in front of me there was a horse, no a man, a...man-horse?!It seemed as if he were coaxing me to get to him but, I didn't know if I could trust him or not, he was holding a sword. Where he was standing behind, behind him was a big building. It looked like the canteen, but I couldn't tell I was to busy running for my life.

''RUN TO ME CHILD!!!!'' The horse-man told me.

When I got to him, he pulled me behind him and told me to close my eyes. Before I closed my eyes, the last thing I saw was a really bright light that nearly blinded me. When I opened my eyes the chimera was gone, and behind me, the building was on fire. In the distance we heard firetrucks coming from the last fire.

''We must go now.'' The horse-man said.

I jumped on his back and we went fast through the forest, leaving everyone behind.
