It was the morning peak for Musutafu, Japan. The City of Musutafu is known as a place where any type of crime can take place, and when there was a crime, heroes were inbound. Villains and Heroes go battle toe-to-toe, or in this case, "quirk-to-quirk" fighting off in formidable battles to achieve peace in the city. Kids go to school dreaming about one day becoming a pro-hero to save lives and putting smiles on people's faces, but there's always a downside.

If you have a quirk or not, you're still killable. You can't ever escape the hands of death. You'll have to leave this world and there's nothing you can do about it.

Pro-heroes put their lives on the line to protect us, no matter what the situation might be. Whether it may be a fire, a bullet, or even a man-slaughtering death machine. It's a substantial fight they have to make, but in the end, they'll always triumph. Like the retired hero, All-Might: he was the true meaning of a pro-hero—no—not a pro... A genuine hero. Putting their strength into everything they've got to succeed in battle.

Some people have it easy to prove to themselves that they can be a hero, while others have to start from the bottom and climb their way up the obstacles standing in their way to be #1.

After all, no one said that being a hero was an undemanding job.

Chapter 1: Entering A New Den?

MONDAY

7:30 AM

KYOKI POV

It was the crack of dawn. It was still pretty early, but you could hear the city get more lively. The hero decorations around my room connected in a well way as the light from the sun radiated my room, giving it a more lively aura. I yawned, rubbed my eyes, and arose from my bed. I was still pretty drowsy from waking up; all night I was up thinking about starting my first day in Japan's best hero high school: UA High. UA High is the most famous and best-known high school that few people rarely get into. Heroes like All-Might and Endeavor, and more amazing heroes, that became legendary heroes today because of this school. Now, I thrive to the best to make a good impression and make her proud.

I walk to the bathroom to fix up my face to get ready for the day. I grab my toothbrush and brush my teeth, especially the 4 silver fangs in my mouth. Next, I grabbed my comb and brushed out my white hair and my fur on my tail. Yes, you've heard it right. Forgot to tell you, I'm part wolf as well. That's my quirk. I have the powers and abilities of a wolf. My 4 silver fangs allow me to use these special wolf-like abilities. I only have small wolf-like features on my body, though. Like how I have a tail, fangs, and ears are on top of my head.

When I got done cleaning up myself, I put on the school's uniform. It was kinda hard for me to do since I have a tail and all, but luckily they were designed perfectly just for me. I then head back to my room and see two bracelets on my nightstand: a pink one that belongs to my mother and a silver one that she gave me for my 6th birthday. They both show an emblem of a wolf's fangs. I stare at the two objects, remembering their origin. They both symbolize something important to me: strength and guidance. I sighed and then grabbed the bracelets and attached them to my wrist.

Next, I head to the kitchen and see breakfast made for me none other than my grandma: Grandma Uchu, a half-wolf, and my caretaker. "Ah, good morning, dear", said Uchu, cleaning the dishes from the breakfast she made. She was quite small with a silver tail (that was almost silver), and gray hair on top of her head, along with her wolf-like ears, standing on top of them.

"Good morning, grandma", I said, giving her a morning smile. "How did you sleep?"

"I should ask you that question. It is your first day at the famous and best hero high school in Japan," stated Uchu, continuing the dishes.
