reigns pov

monday morning, i woke up to party in the u.s.a playing loudly in my room. turning my alarm off, i decided to check my notifications.

one text from luke
one text from calum
sighing, i opened our texts to see what they wanted.

cal<3 : wake up

luke!<3 : reign! wake up :-(

i decided to text luke back first because he was my favorite out of the two.

luke!<3 : reign! wake up :-(

me : im up! im up!

i figured calum would just call me if he actually needed anything. he always does.
finally getting out of bed, i stretched and let out a long yawn, sighing after. "mornin' mama," i mumbled to my mom when we passed by each other in the hall, "morning reign grace," at the sound of my first and middle name together, i grimaced. i absolutely hated my middle name. not as much as i hated michael clifford but, close enough.
going to the bathroom to get ready, i debated in my head wether or not to shower. in the end, i decided against it because i would probably end up running late for school.

after i was ready, i bounced down the stairs and into the kitchen to have breakfast, "what's for breakfast today?" i questioned my mother who was busy working on getting what seemed to be pancakes and eggs, ready, "pancakes, eggs, and strawberries," she listed off our morning meal as my stomach growled, "smells good chef," i said with a slight smile that my mama returned.
after finishing my breakfast, i grabbed my backpack and slung it over my shoulder. kissing my mom goodbye, i texted calum that i was on my way out. calum and i — and sometimes luke — had always rode or driven together to school.

opening calums car door, i hear him say, "hey sexy lady," he's always said something of the sorts to me every single day. "hey c-dizzle," he grimaces at the old nickname i gave him in second grade, "gross reign, never call me that again," he says, laughing.

for the rest of the ride to school we sing along to songs we know on the radio. once we get to school, we meet up with ashton and luke. ashton became apart of our "friend group" in sixth grade. he's been apart of it ever since. "reign! guess what michael said to me," ashton says looking at me with wide eyes, "hm, i dont care," i reply back cooly. "ouch, that hurt," he says, with a mocked shock expression on his face. "speaking of.." i hear luke murmur. i look to him with a confused look on my face as he nods in the direction of none other than michael clifford.

as he walks down the hallway high-fiving people, he turns to me and says, "you look good today, reign grace" then walks away with the most smug look i've ever seen, on his face. "that mother fu-" i attempt to say before calum slaps his hand over my mouth, "reign, shut it" he seethes between his teeth. i quickly lick him to get his sweaty hand off my mouth and it works.

after sitting and talking in the hallway for a few more minutes, the first bell rings, finally dismissing us to class. its not that i don't like school, it's just that, i don't like school. my first class is home economics which just so happens to be my first out of all the classes to have michael in. thankfully, he usually just sleeps in that class because its an easy a so if you don't pay attention then you'll still get scored high on assignments.

walking to class, i pass by a few people that say hi to me. mrs. loughry isn't in class yet so we all have to wait outside. "this is absolute bullshít," michael says out loud making everyone look at him in disbelief. "what? do you want me to pull my pants down?" after almost everyone shakes their heads no to this he says, "that's what i thought. now go back to your chess club conversation." he ends, rolling his eyes.

after the teacher finally got to class, everything had settled down a lot. michael stayed in his corner with his jerks of friends and i stayed in my corner, of course by myself because no one in this class is my friend. the only thing was that michael kept looking at me. it was really weird, like he'd look up at me then when i'd look back at him he would go back to talking with his friends like nothing had happened. i ignored it in the end and just settled on texting luke since he was probably bored too.

me : hey luke :D

luke!<3 : hi reign :-D

me : wyd??

luke!<3 : literally nothing, wbu?

me : nothing :/ rlly bored tho. u should come see me :D

luke!<3 : sorry, no can do :-(
luke!<3 : gtg peterson is giving us work :/ love u!

me : bye! love u<33

i decided that since luke was busy again that i would just scroll through instagram and like a few posts. just as i was liking kylie jenners new pictures, the bell rang for class to be dismissed. sighing as i got up, i grabbed my bag and left the class.

my first four classes flew by making me excited to get to lunch. i only had classes with ashton, calum, and luke my last three hours. getting in line for the lunch, someone jumped on my back making me stumble over but be sure not to drop them. "get off ashton, you're heavy." i told the person on my back, who i assumed to be ashton. "darn it," the person, who i learned was ashton said, getting off my back.
today for lunch there were brisket sandwiches, coleslaw, and mashed potatoes.

lunch flew by even faster than my classes making me sad to leave my friends even though i'd see one of them in my next class.

walking into my next class, i saw luke sitting at our table that we sat at together. "hey lukey," i said pulling my chair out to sit next to him. "reign! my favorite person ever!" he practically praised to me when he noticed i was here. "okay what's up? what do you need," when luke needed something or anything big happened he always praised me in a way. "okay so," he said as he started to tell me the story.

a/n! okay this is a long chapter im sorry lol. hope this was good tho :/
