The devil fruit Phantom

The phantom is born.

It was business as usual for the people of Tokyo General Hospital as both staff and patient alike went about their business as best they could. It was because of this that no-one payed any attention to the couple seating outside the examination ward both with equal signs of worry. The woman was petite standing around 5'2 with Blue eyes and light blue hair. Her face was deadpan but her clutched and shaking hands showed her true feelings. The man was 5'11 he had black hair with brown eyes. Currently he had his head down and arms crossed, though the tapping of his finger on his arm showing just how impatient he was becoming.

This is Kuroko Dachi and Kuroko Kiyoko and they were there waiting helplessly for information on their young son Kuroko Tetsuya. For you see around 50 years ago a baby was born that glowed a brilliant light and ever since then more and more people have begun to awaken these meta-human abilities.

And there son turned out to be one of them.

Honestly they should have seen this coming, their son had often come to them with various weird, well detailed and often very connected dreams of fantastic and powerful figures but they also just brushed it aside as their young son's creative mind. That came to a screeching halt that very morning when they awoke to their son laughing while floating in midair like he had done so his entire life. Wasting time only to get dressed and convincing their son to come down safely.

From there it was all a matter of getting to the front desk and convincing their son to float again so image their shock when instead his limbs started to stretch. A doctor immediately started looking him over especially after the Kuroko's told them about their son floating which the boy quickly proved he could, which only proved to throw the doctor for a loop as this was the first time anyone has displayed more then one ability. So here the couple sat, having been there for 3 hours as they watched doctors and nurses run in and out frantically, sometimes with weird items only to rush out a few minutes later with the devices in different states of being.

Finally the nurse they had meet at the sigh in desk came up to him and informed them they could see their son. With expressions of pure relief both parents got up and moved as quick as they could while in a hospital before heading into the meta-human examination area.

While being led to their son's room they passed by multiple examination rooms most of which were filled with various kids each with varying degrees of emotion from excited to terrified about their new abilities. Finally they neared the end of hall and with a quick bow the nurse excused herself as the parents entered their son's room just in time to see the doctor attach something to their son's wrist.

"Now remember Tetsuya, for the time being you must wear this wear this constantly, understand?" He asked gesturing to the device on the boy's arm. It was a small, metallic wristband and mostly sliver in color with a green sphere in the center. "And just what is that you are putting on my son?" Kiyoko asked in her usual deadpan though their was an edge to it while Dachi just scowled in suspicion. The doctor however merely smiled upon seeing them as young Tetsuya rushed to hug his parents. "Ah, it's nothing to worry about Ms.Kuroko." The doctor tried to reassure the parents fear. "All the device will do will signal when young Tetsuya here active his power by giving off a glow." The doctor explained as the adults turned their attention to Kuroko's direction where two lights shined. One from Kuroko's  finger tip and the other from the device which died down when the glow on Kuroko's stoped.

"See completely harmless." The doctor said gesturing to the device before moving over to the desk in the room and to pick up the papers and when he turned around the parents were distressed to see the troubled look on the doctor's face. "However Mr and Ms. Kuroko I have much to discuss with you about your son's meta-human ability." He told them and spoke again when he saw Kiyoko open her mouth. "Please allow me to go over everything before asking any questions." He requested and was relived to see the blue haired woman close her mouth with a nod.
