Finally after 4 months I'm able to leave the hospital. Stephen drives up to the front of the hospital with a smile on his face. He's just as happy as I am now that we will be able to go on a real date. I never thought I would fall for my doctor but I am so beyond grateful for him. Stephen jumps out of the car and runs to the passenger side before I'm able to even touch it.
"You thought you could open your own door? Not with me you can't." Stephen winks as he helps me in.
"You're too sweet to me." I smile.
He walks around his car and gets in. He starts driving as he says, "I can't believe my superior kept you for four months."
"I know I'm just ready for some good coffee and no more hospital food." I chuckle.
"That coffee shop you tell me about all the time, would you like to go there?"
I smile, "I'd love to."
"I love you Willow." He whispers.
"I love you Stephen or should I say Doctor Tucker." I laugh.
I can't believe this is real. God I love this man so much.
Once we arrive at the coffee shop he orders our coffee brings it to me. He kisses me on the cheek before he sits down. I'm so lucky to have found him, well he found me. I haven't heard from Jake or Jerome since I went to the hospital. I guess they went missing but eventually everyone grieved and moved on. Once I talked to Stephen about how heartbroken it had me I decided I needed to move on. I couldn't wait for him forever. That sounds so bad to say but I deserve to be loved and appreciated.
We are talking and having an amazing first date when on the news I noticed my father or Jake? But Jerome had been found with my father. I guess Jake had been impersonating him for years and now he's a wanted man.
"Baby are you okay? Do you want to go to my place so we aren't in public?" Stephen asks as soon as he notices what's on the television.
"Yes please." I answer shortly.
Shortly after we leave we arrive at his house. It's a nice dark grey house. Two stories. Nice black furniture inside with white walls. Beautiful.
I sit on the couch. "So all these years my uncle has been pretending to be my father. I guess that explains why he got so weird when he met Jerome. That's why he was always playing around with his face. Where has my father been all these years? Does he really blame me? I want to see him." I rant.
"Why don't you just relax today and then first thing in the morning we can go to the police station and ask to see your father. Do you want me to be there babe?"
"Please. Can you honey? It would be a little less awkward." I answer.
"Yes my love I can be there for you. I'm never going anywhere." He says as he pulls me into him and kisses the top of my head.
We fall asleep on the couch and don't wake up until 8pm.
"Babe, let's go upstairs to bed." Stephen whispers as he grazes my cheek.
We go upstairs and I begin to change. I'm a little awkward because he's never seen me like this. I glance over at him and he looks at me. He's in his boxers. His chest chiseled with the outline of abs. His skin tan. He's beautiful.
He slowly walks over to me and runs his hand down my arm. "You're stunning Willow." He whispers before I lean up and kiss his soft lips. He brings his hands to my hips as he pushes me back onto the bed. He climbs on top of me. "Is this okay?" He asks before he continues. I nod. An hour and a half later we are cuddled in bed and he's running his hands through my hair. We drift off into a peaceful sleep.
I'm awoken by Stephen as he comes into the bedroom with breakfast on a platter. "Oh, babe. You are too sweet." I say, tearing up.
He stops and set the food on the bed by my feet. "Sweetie, what's wrong?" He asks as he rushes to my side.
"I'm sorry. I just didn't expect you to do this for me. You treat me so amazing." I answer as he wipes the tears from my eyes.
"You are my world Willow. I intend for you to know how much I love you. Everyday." He says as he grabs the tray and puts it on my lap. "Now eat my love."
I smile and begin to eat. Not long after I get out of bed and begin to get dressed. I grab the tray from the bed and pass Stephen as I go downstairs.
"I'm going to get dressed and we can go see you father babe." He calls from upstairs.
"Okay, I'm going to do dishes." I answer.
Twenty minutes later I finish dishes right as he comes downstairs. "Wow you look so handsome!" I compliment.
"Thank you beautiful. You ready to go?"
"Yes. Did you grab my purse when you went to my house to get some of my things?" I question.
"Yes. In the hall closet over here." He answers as he shows me where the closet is.
He hands me my purse and we head to his car. Silently we drive to the police station. Once we arrive we go in and ask to see my father. The woman at the front desk makes some calls and tells me he will arrive in 15 minutes.
I'm scared but I can't wait to see my real father.
