Three weeks and three days until the tournament
Location: Just outside of a great forest
Request: Stop the rampaging of all wildlife in the area close to the nearby village
Additional details: If possible, stop the cause of it
Near the end of the quest
"Almost done. Did you find anything, Sasuke?"
"No, but I think something's coming our way."
From behind!
I grabbed the mysterious assailant's fist and slid back a bit.
He's strong!
I clutched down harder on it and formed a Rasengan inside of his palm, twisting and shattering his arm below the elbow.
"Who are you?"
"Tch!"
He threw some objects at me which I shattered with my sword.
"Who are you?!"
"That's not necessary."
I saw him weaving hand symbols and waiting for his attack, unsure whether to get close or keep distance.
I can absorb it with this mark anyway, so it won't matter what I do.
He finished weaving and let out a weak fire release.
"Is that all you can do?"
I simply dodged it and quickly sent a jutsu back at him.
"Lightning Style: Thunderbolt."
It soared through the sky, hitting him.
"Useless!"
I felt a ping of pain in my hand, growing around where the mark was. I felt it activate and crawl across my skin, along with my Sage Mode, making the half and half transformation.
Could he...?
My Lightning Jutsu was absorbed into a similar mark on his hand.
"Hey. Do you know what this is?"
I jumped up in from of him and held my mark in front of his face.
"You have a Karma too?"
"Karma..."
"What's your name?"
"Boruto, of the Hidden Leaf Village."
He laughed hysterically.
"Boruto? For possessing a Karma as I do, you're an idiot! I was a fool to expect anything from you!"
I swung at him, hitting empty air as he jumped back.
"You have worse survival instinct than an animal! Well, until we meet again, Boruto!"
He leaped away into the shadows, leaving me frustrated.
Two weeks until the tournament
Location: Minor Irrelevant Village (No name as a result of my increativity, dubbed 'the village')
Request: Investigate the cause of many brutal murderings around this area, and put them to a stop.
Additional details: Large chunks of jagged stones were found protruding from the body, as well as massive depressions in the earth, suggesting a third party has fought with the murderer, as no victim could cause such destruction. If possible, investigate the third party as well, but it is optional.
