After the flight landed Emilywalked put the plane and grabbed her luggage before walking out the Departure gate.
She saw her Papa and Dad standing their, excitedly waving at her. And in an instant all her worries seemed to be gone. Momentarily she forgot about all the things that happened with her.
She left her luggage behind before running towards her parents who instantly opened their arms to welcome their daughter.
She wrapped her arms around both of them pulling them into a family hug. She braced them as to never let go. She was finally home. She melted into their arms and closed her eyes in the familiar scent.
"We have a surprise for you" said Louis smirking.
He and Harry moved away for Emily to have a clear view.
Three men were standing. All of them had bright smiles that she hadn't seen in so long. Zayn was holding balloons, Niall was holding a sign that read 'I heart Emily' and Liam was holdin a cake.
"OH MY GOD. WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT???" She asked.
"Well..... let go in the car and then talk" said Harry.
They headed off to different cars with tje same destination when Louis started explaining what happened in the week that she was gone.
"So.... since my management is going well and everything, one day Harry and me and Niall were video conferencing when he pitched in the idea of a reunion. We talked it with other guys about it and that if wewere to come together, we will sign with my management and they kind of agreed?" Said Louis.
"OH MY GOD!?!? WHA- I MEAN- IS THIS FOR REAL?" Emily asked, jumping in the back seat.
"Well only for a short time.... we are thinking of getting back together for one final album and a world tour" Harry pitched in.
"THAT'S STILL AMAZING!!! OH MY GOD!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. YOUR FANS!!! THEY ARE- THEY ARE G9NNA BE ON TOP OF THE WORLD!!! You know you're gonna get people oit of depression, right? Like you're gonna literally treat anxiety and like shut the mouth of the haters! Oh I can't believe it. One direction! Together! Its- I'm so overwhelmed right now! I missed those days so bad. Wow" she finally finished before leaning back in her seat and realizing that this reunion would be her escape and finally she will be able to spend the best times with her uncles.
They finally reached the office of Louis's management where they were going to meet up with their new manager for their reunion and with contracts and with ideas and with a whole new versions of themselves.
Harry had asked if Emily wanted to go back home to rest but she said she wanted to be there with them and that she couldn't miss being a part of one of the most legendary reunions after the reunion of F.R.I.E.N.D.S.
They reached the building and Emily walked behinf her fathers into the familiar building she has been in so many times.
They entered a room on the top floor amd waited for everyone to arrive. Soon enough Zayn, Niall amd Liam arrived and she gave them all a hug. It was after son long that all five of them sat together in a room together.
"I still can't believe it" said Emily as if it would soon fade away into a dream.
"So who's going to be our manager?"
"Claire... from our old management... who supported us? And Sofia. She an intern and she will be preparing the contracts. For PR we have Jonathan. One of our best. And I don't know what record label we should go with..." explained Harry.
Soon enough Claire walked in with Sofia and Jonathan by their side. She smiled upon them, aging visible on her face.
"EMILY! So good to see you. Ah after soo long" Claire casted a warm smile at her. Emily nodded and smiled back.
She started speaking about many things and asked the 5 of them how they wanted to come back.
"And Instagram post from the original account?"
"And a tweet"
"Going live on zoom together and then all joining into one screen?"
"Oooor as a guest performer at X-factor" said Zayn. "I mean that's where it all started" he shrugged.
"Good idea. We might be able to work through that. Now what about the album?"
"I think-" Emily started
"You think?" Sofia chuckled darkly. Everyone's head snapped at her.
"Yes I'm human, hence the thinking. Your welcome you the way for the piece of information I just provided you" said Emily before continuing. "I think they should record it differently as much as they can because the fans are really sneaky and creepy and well kinda FBI so if they got together or record in the same studio it might get leaked" said Emily.
"That will be super difficult. We need their voices to match and-" Sofia started again.
"That's for the record label to decide amd not you. If they think its difficult then they'll be sneaky" Emily saod looking at Sofia with a hard look on her face.
"Why are you such a bitch" Sofia sneered.
"You started it" Emily shrugged.
"Anyways,,, I think Emily is right. The fans will be onto us if we are spotted together" said Liam trying to break the tension.
"Off course you'll say that. You're her pedophile boyfriend after all"
"SOFIA!" Claire glared at the young girl.
"What? Its the truth"
"I think you are just jealous that you don't have someone who cares for you" Emily said leaning back.
"EMILY! Say sorry" Harry said immediately.
"Sorry. I shouldn't have said that" said Emily looking down at her feet as she saw the disappointment look on her Papa's face.
"Its okay but just to be clear, no o e is jealous of you. No one can be jealous of a person who is an orphan and got adopted out of pity just because she has different colours of eyes"
"Okay, now you are OFF THE PROJECT" yelled Claire.
"What? Just because of a 21 year old NOTHING? We all know she is talentless amd only gets jobs because her parents are where they are"
"At least I'm not Miss Bitter who complains about everything just because she's a jealous bitch"
"OKAY NOW!! LETS GET MOVING! As Claire said Sofia you are off the project. Amd Emily you must be tired, You should go home" said Niall.
"Fine" said Sofia befor leaving.
"Remember the contract Sofia. You can't say anything" said Claire.
"Yeah I will go home" she said getting up and grabbing the car keys and leaving the room.
"HOW WILL WE GET HOME!?!?" Asled Louis yelling after his retreating daughter. "Don't you think that she's being a hormonal teenager AFTER she go finished with her teens??" Asked Louis.
"That's cause her periods start tomorrow. And can you really blame her with all that's been happening?" Said Harry.
"You remember her periods dates"
"Yes mister Tomlinson. We go to buy her sanitry products every month at this time only. Hwo can you not remember" groaned Harry.
"Enough with the Emily drama. Lets get onto the reunion. Sofia was right, it will be difficult to get things roght without meeting but Emily was also right. So just meet up at homes when you are preparing the albums and at the time of recording we'll do it separately. BE DISCREET" said Claire. "I think that's enough for today. We have a meeting woth a record label tomorrow. I'll text you the details, we'll do it over zoom." Said Claire before leaving.
The directioners knew nothing how their lives was going to be disrupted with sleepless night and endless scrolling on Twitter or Instagram or Tumble over the next few months.
