Chaper 1-Are You Serious?

"Hey, Jessie, you're back," my mother calls as I walk in through the front door and take my shoes off. "A letter arrived for you today from that tv show you applied for a few months back." I squeal and run into the kitchen, where the mail is usually put. I flick through the bank statements and bills before finally coming across one from the TV company. I sprint up the stairs to my room and throw my bag on the bed. I grab my phone and call up my best friend, Cassidy.
"OH MY GOD!" She instantly yells through the phone and I'm guessing she got hers too. "I was just about to call you, you got your letter right?"
"Yeah, I got it! Let's open on 3, yeah?" I hear her hum in response. "1, 2, 3!" I drop my phone and rip open the letter to read what it says.

Ms. Jessica Grant,
We have been pleased to confirm your application for the TV show, 'Battle Of The Fandoms'! You will of course be competing under the 'One Direction Fandom' against 10 other females. You will find out your teammates on the day. Further important information is attached below, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY...

"I GOT IN!" I scream into the phone and I hear my mum provide a congratulations from down stairs.
"So did I!" Cass squeals. "1D, right?"
"YES!" I squeal, not being able to contain my excitement.
"Thank god! I'm going to do a status update on Facebook and Twitter!" I hear Cass grabbing her laptop.
"Okay, well I've got to go but I'll talk soon!" I squeal once more and hang up going back to the letter.

... You are to pack as many clothes as possible for an unpredictable stay. You will of course be staying in a large house with a room per fandom. The room will have its own bathroom and six beds (your fandom will have five people) and the house will be fully stocked with food. There will be challenges to win points for your fandom. The fandom that wins will get to meet their leader/leaders and will then spend a further week with them, off air. One thing that is required is drama. So be prepared!

The letter finishes with a few other documents saying we have to meet at a certain address and we will be escorted to the secret location.

I go down stairs after being called for dinner and my mums engulfs me with a hug.
"3 weeks, huh? That's not very far away and then my baby will be going and-" My mum babbles on about she'll lose 'her baby girl' and some other shit like that.
"Oh my god, Mum!" I say. "Let's just eat our salad okay, and I'm sure I'll be able to contact you while I'm in the house." I take a bite of my salad. "And Cass made it, too!" I add and my mum just laughs at me as we continue to eat our salad.
