Forest and a Dream Come True

Chapter 1

I was heading home from my forest walk and saw a building that were having people volunteer to try out a new more realistic VR. I walked in and instantly knew something bad was gonna happen.

I felt something hit my head and then black. When i was waking up my vision and hearing was very hazy. I heard someone say "Welcome to my game! Good luck!" I looked towards the voice and saw someone run off the tree and swerving between trees.

I didn't get a good look but they seemed to be wearing a green hoodie. "Hey! Wait.... I ca- DAMN IT!" I tried yelling for them but they were gone. I looked next to me and saw a backpack. I sat up and went through it.

"Alright there is a water canteen, iodine, a jacket, and a blanket." I stuffed everything back in and started my search for food. I pretty quickly found a rabbit and pounced on it and gutted it while it was alive since I had no way of killing it humanly.

I washed it out and put it in my bag. I went to a clearing and found some pine needles and broken logs. I created a fire using my glasses. I created a thing to put the rabbit on and rotate it over the flame. I punctured 2 holes and put the stick on it then put it on the stand and started slowly cooking it. I drank from my canteen.

Which had water in it when i got it. After i ate the rabbit I headed out and grabbed some logs, vine, and rocks. I hit the rocks together to create a weapon and attached it to the log with the vine and covered it in rabbit fur so i wouldn't get splinters.

Not very long afterward I heard a stick crack. Something big was close. I looked around and spotted the guy from before. He had a knife and a smiley face mask. He kept getting closer and closer. When he around 4 feet away from me I spoke.  "kill me. I can't run anyway."

He very quickly responded "Now why would I do that? That would be so boring. I suggest you run." I responded "I-I cant!" His mask looked at me and asked "Why can't you?!" "I had many surgeries. So many that I ruined my running capabilities and can no longer run. So just kill me." He shook his head no and sat down and patted the spot next to him.
