"Hey Jack, remember that basement your mom said was forbidden?" Stan said, looking at Jack as they eat their sandwiches outside.
"Yeah, what about it?" Jack questioned, finishing his salami sandwich.
"I say we go in it, what's the worse that can happen?" Stan said, finishing his ham sandwich.
"Dude, we're not done with that basement. My mom says it's forbidden because we're not done constructing it yet." Jack Denied, throwing his paper plate in the garbage.
"Come on man, have you even seen what's inside there?" Stan whined, putting his hands on the ground.
"I mean.... no-" Jack started,
"There ya go. You don't know, I don't know. We even?" Stan started, completely cutting off Jack.
"If it will make you shut up, then sure..." Jack said annoyingly, grabbing Stan's plate and throwing it in the dumpster.
"Finally, let's go then!" Stan said cheerfully, dashing towards the house door.
"We better be out by 5, because my mom gets off early today, she's gonna be 'P, I, S, S, E, D.' If she finds out." Jack said, still annoyed.
They went to the basement door. Right in between the stairwell and living room. They opened the door, to see the old wooden stairs leading down into darkness.
"See, told ya. Now let's-" Jack started, already seeing Stan halfway down the stairs, "You've gotta be kidding me..." Jack whispered to himself, walking down as well.
They make it down to the old concrete floor. Making enough space for Jack to squeeze by,
"Wow dude, this basement is huge!" Stan said in awe, looking into the dimly lit basement.
"I know, but I thought it was much smaller then how it is now..." Jack said, thinking back o when they added the basement.
"Anyways, let's head up-" Jack said, turning around and freezing.
"What dude?" Stan said, still looking at the basement.
"Where did the stairs go...?" Jack questioned in a scared and shocked tone, stuttering every word.
"You kidding me or something?" Stan said, looking back at Jack.
Stan saw for himself. The very basement steps they were standing under were gone. No door, no stairs, just endless rooms and halls.
"Jack, what is that in the distance?" Stan said, as a dark figure crept over, neck twisted and face darker then space.
"..." Jack just stood there, eventually screaming and running through the labyrinth of the dimly lit basement rooms.
"JACK!" Stan yelled, chasing after him.To this day, no one knows what happened to them. No trace of them were found since...
