"Wait, WHAT?" Felix said, I was beginning to think he couldn't talk at all. Everyone but Kelsey and Fritz looked shocked.

Avery hung his head while Kelsey's grip on my shoulder tightened. "What are you saying? We're going to die?" She asked.

"Not if we focus on the task at hand. We can survive, but we have to work together. I guarantee you that some of the inmates sent before us survived."

Beckett spoke up, "So, if we survive, will we come back?"

I sighed, "No. King Janneaus uses this method to get rid of the disgraces is our population. Little does he know, most of the people put in here are more resourceful than he thinks. I mean Avery has been on the run for years, Kelsey has been by herself down here since she was little, and I've always been a few steps ahead of the patrols."

"And just because I have dyslexia doesn't mean I'm stupid. I can think fast on my feet." Jessica said.

"We can make anything into anything." Fritz stated, and Felix nodded.

"I can build fairly sturdy structures from scrap" Beckett said.

"I'm really confused, first of all why are you in here?" Kelsey pointed at Beckett, "and second, how do you know how to build structures?"

"I'm in here because I tried breaking my sister out last week," Jessica looked shocked, "and it's just always been my interest." Beckett said.

"And Lyrenna here knows a good bit about medicine and survival skills" Avery pointed out. I blushed, I wasn't that good.

"I can't tell, you wouldn't be able to dress your own wounds and she knew where to put Kelsey's scarf to stop her bleeding" Jessica said looking in my eyes.

"Oh my gosh! Kelsey I'm so sorry, let me dress your leg so it doesn't get infected!" I said realizing I forgot about her wounds. I handed her off to Jessica and took out the first aid kit I snuck out of our cell and started to dress her gashes.

"Oh right, thanks. I kind of forgot about that." Kelsey looked a little flushed.

Avery bent down to help keep her leg steady so I could wrap the bandages around her larger wounds. When I had finished I turned to Avery, "Okay your turn. Your bandages have to stay clean." I moved my hand to tell him to turn around.

For how small the first aid kit was it had an awful lot of space. Fritz and Felix started looking around the room for any other type of supply. They walked back over to me and handed me three more med kits and extra bandages. They handed Beckett a note pad and pen, and Jessica a pen she can use to create holographs.

They gave Kelsey a book about survival skills and Avery the keys to handcuffs. They kept several pairs of handcuffs probably to make things to help us survive.

I finished tending to Avery when the door opened and we hid everything in our uniform pockets or in the folds of the scarves.

The guard that helped me yesterday came in and gave us all bags. The bags had med kits, notepads, rations, extra clothes (not uniforms), and two canteens. She left swiftly and we all brought out what we had stolen and put them in the bags.

We gave Beckett the notepads, Kelsey the rations, Avery and Jessica the extra clothes, me the med kits, and the canteens to Fritz and Felix. I guess our "jobs" have been assigned.

A/N: Hi guys! Sorry this is a short chapter but I'm really tired and have writers block. Already. So if y'all have any questions or feedback let me know!
