My soul pounds with regret,
I know you won't realise it yet.
Those memories always flood back,
dark and creepy like a lost cat.
I'm sorry for what I did and said,
just lay me down and sing me to bed.
Wrap me in your love and hate,
send me to that dark cold gate.
