Today is karaoke night at the tower and I’m nervous but excited at the same time. I’m mostly nervous because my secret girlfriend Natasha will be there and she’s never heard me sing before. We have only been together 2 months but we love eachother so much. We don’t mind having to hide our relationship, it’s like our dirty little secret that only we know.
I am currently changing into my outfit for tonight. It’s nothing fancy or too flashy since it’s only going to be the team and Pepper there. I'm wearing a pair of comfy black pleather pants with a plain grey shirt and my light blue denim jacket with my black converse. (view image)

As soon as I finished changing there was a knock on my door. I opened the door to reveal my beautiful girlfriend smiling at me. “Hello, beautiful.” she said to me while looking me up and down, taking in my outfit and making me blush at the name. “Hey. What are you doing here? You’re supposed to be downstairs at the party, waiting with everyone else.” I said while smiling back, pulling her into my room and closing the door. “Well I was waiting but then I got bored and thought I’d pay my beautiful girlfriend a visit before she performed.” she said back smiling and kissing my cheek. I blushed again and said “Well thank you for stopping by. And thank you for the compliments. You look beautiful too, as always” I kissed her cheek “But I am finished getting ready and was just about to go down and get my performance started.” “ Well then… let’s get this party started shall we?” she said, holding out her hand out for me to take. “We shall.” I replied as I took her hand and giggled at her cuteness.
As we were waiting in a comfortable silence for the elevator doors to open to take us down with everyone else Natasha broke the silence and asked “So, are you gonna tell me what song you’re gonna sing?” “Nope” I simply replied when the doors finally opened and we stepped inside. “Whyyy? I wanna know. It's KILLING me!” she replied, whining like a child that wanted a toy from the store. I pushed the floor number and said “Because it’s a surprise and I don’t want to ruin it.” “Pleaseee! I won’t tell anyone.” She gave me her puppy eyes and I leaned in and kissed her cute nose. Then I got an evil idea and decided to trick her to think I was going to tell her. I leaned into her ear and whispered “Not a chance baby.” As I finished whispering in her ear the elevator doors opened and I started making my way to everyone else, leaving Natasha in the elevator. She caught up to me quickly and whispered in my ear “ You are such a bully” Then she walked into the room before me and sat down and started talking to Wanda on the couch.
***five minutes later***
I was now on stage listening to everyone cheer for me as we waited for the music to begin playing. After a few seconds the soft piano started playing and I took a deep breath before I started to sing the words to the song that I chose specifically for Natasha. (song is She Keeps Me Warm by Mary Lambert)
She says I smell like safety and home I named both of her eyes forever and please-don't-go
I made eye contact with Natasha and smiled as I sang the first two lines of the song then looked away to not raise any suspicion.

I got more into the music as I began to sing the chorus of the song and smiled when I looked around at everyone's faces to see Tony, Thor, Bruce and Peter with their mouths open in shock.

Wanda and Pepper looked at each other with big smiles then looked at me with those big smiles still plastered on their faces.

I saw Loki give Bucky a 5 dollar bill looking annoyed while Bucky celebrated a little as he seemed to have won some bet that they made.

I looked at Natasha to see her staring at me with the biggest smile on her face and so much love in her eyes.

As I looked at Nat again she sends me a quick wink, still smiling at me.

As I finished up the last few lines of the song me and Nat made eye contact again but this time was different. This time we both had so much love in both of our teary eyes that it made me feel warmth all over my body. We continued staring into each other's eyes as everyone got up and started cheering and applauding. It was as if Nat could read my mind and I could read hers. We both nodded at each other and as if all I needed was her okay I ran off the stage and into her arms. We hugged for a few seconds then pulled apart and pulled each other into a loving and passionate kiss. The kiss lasted longer than the hug but not by much. We pulled apart and rested our foreheads together staring into each other's eyes once again. “I love you so much, baby.” Natasha said. “I love you too, my love. So so much.” I replied before pulling her into another kiss.
It was as if we were in our own world that we didn’t even hear all the whistling and clapping going on around us as the team cheered for us. We broke apart from each other and I saw Loki give Bucky a 20 dollar bill. This time it clicked and I realized what the second bet was. “Really guys! You made a bet on if me and Natasha were together?!” Bucky looked at me and smiled then said “Yup! And thanks to you I won 25 bucks!” Loki just glared at him. “What were the other 5 for?” I asked, remembering the first money exchange. This time Loki spoke up “That one was if you could sing good.” I just laughed and smacked them both on the arm for betting on me.
Everyone congratulated me and Nat on our relationship and we all sat down and started talking and drinking for the next couple hours. I sat next to Nat with my head leaning onto her shoulder while her arm was wrapped around my shoulder.

(like this) It was a pretty perfect night. And I couldn't be happier with my girlfriend and our crazy family.
