"Do you know that there is a specific organization here in V.U wherein you can join?" We were eating inside the Cafeteria, I am with Kali, Lav, Kia and Cendrix, since pare-pareho naming break ngayon.
My interest was piqued by what Kali said, I looked at her, interested.
"Oo, if you're into sports, you can join the varsity. May sports ka ba na alam laruin or interested matutunan?" Kali asked,
"Uh, I don't know any sports." I answered, kasi nung bata ako, never kami pinayagan mag-laro ni Mom. Shaun is interested in golf, but Mom didn't even give him the blessing to play golf. Kahit si Dad ay walang nagawa. That's why I never tried playing,
"Ay, sayang!" she exclaimed,
"Kayo ba?" I asked, looking at them one by one.
"Well, Cendrix is into basketball." Kali answered, tumango naman si Cendrix bilang pagsang-ayon. "In fact, he's the team's captain." I nodded my head, surprised by that.
"Stop bragging, Kali." Natatawang sabi ni Cendrix. "Kia plays badminton, also Krish. Si Kali at Lav naman, cheerleader." I nodded my head and took note of that in my mind.
"Hey, hindi naman sports ang cheerleading." Natatawang sabi ni Kali, "Taubin also plays basketball, si Aizren basketball at chess." She smirked at me, teasing me. napailing na lang ako,
"OMG! You like that punk?" Lav asked, nanlaki naman ang mga mata ko bago umiling.
"Hindi 'no? Saan niyo napulot 'yan?" I asked,
"Ayy, why naman hindi?" She asked with panghihinayang, I just chuckled.
Well, I must admit that I have a crush on him. If it wasn't his attitude, I would have liked him better than I do now.
"Mas bet niya yung mabait, tapos moreno." Lauren said while approaching, naupo siya sa tabi ni Cendrix na nakasimangot nang makita ang pag-upo ni Lauren. Napangisi naman si Lauren at tumayo, "Oops, kay Krishianna pala 'to---"
"It's not, just sit down." Naiinis na sagot ni Cendrix, natawa na lang si Lauren at naupo na ulit.
"Weh, Moreno type mo, Shanice?" Kali asked,
"Anything will do, basta 'wag ma-attitude." I answered that made Lauren and Kali laugh, kahit si Cendrix ay natawa doon.
"Hala, so that means you don't want a friend that is ma-attitude also? Parang yung isa d'yan?" Lav asked, throwing a sideward glance on Kia. Agad namang napataas ang kilay ng isa pero hindi umimik. "Ah, pathetic, cannot rebut." She teased,
"Lav, nag-uumpisa ka na naman." Saway ni Cendrix,
"Uh, excuse me?"
"If you just want me to speak out, you shouldn't tone up like that. Baka hindi mo magustuhan ang sasabihin ko." Kia answered,
"Uh, here we are again!" Lauren shook her head, nagkatinginan na naman ulit kami.
Then I remembered what happened last night.
What does Neo mean by that? He does not belong to them?
I know what he could mean, but I just can't judge easily right now. What if something else might be the reason. When you say that you do not belong to a group that could mean a lot of things.
Nevertheless, Lauren and I kept our mouths shut for a reason. Hindi kami nag-sumbong, but I guess Tita Chenie figured out that Nash was the one who punched Neo because of Nash's red knuckles.
