A new day has come

*y/n pov*

Pink light trickles through the window as the buzzing of the phone startles you from a nightmare. "huh!?" I said. for a moment, you're tense, heart pounding as you struggle to remember where you are...when you are...Then it all comes back to you, the monsters, the flood, the battle with Jessica....and the months that have passed since. lifting your head, you squint around the room of another late-night movie marathon. "what...time is it?" I said. you groan, stretching and steer your feet to the floor. an empty soda bottle clatters onto its side. "sheesh, we gotta start going to bed early, this place is like a crime scene" I said. Across the room, a chad-shaped lump of blankets does not respond. you leap onto chad's bed! "DEATH FROM ABOVE!" I said....but the blankets and pillows give away beneath you, and chad is nowhere to be seen. "wow, he is actually up before me?" I said "oh, I wonder if he made breakfast" I said. I head downstairs, but still no sign of chad . "hmmm where is he?" I said to myself. Wind chimes ring softly in the morning air. turning your head toward the front door, you realize it's hanging wide open. "what?" I said. hairs prickling on the back of your neck, you make your way out. "chadie? you out there?" I asked, then you see him. he's standing with his back to you, at the edge of the dock. he doesn't seem to have heard your voice. in fact...he's eerily still... "c-chad?" I called out again . he doesn't answer. you walk toward him, heart beating faster, hand shaking as you reach out to grab him by the shirt--- "Woah!" he said, he spins around to face you, a MacBook in his hands and AirPods in his ears . "what's your problem?" he asked "i-- you weren't answering me! so  I just--" before you can finish, chad shuts his laptop and breaks into a grin "oh I get it. you thought I was possessed?" asked chad "no.shut up!" I said "ooooooohhhh look at meeee I'm a ghoooostt" said chad, you pull chad into a hug "by the way what are you doing?" I asked "helping the dudes, they asked me to edit their videos, so I was like why not?" said chad "oh! that's great!" I said . your voice echoes out over the clean  and calm waters. waters that are finally in peace.

LATER THAT AFTERNOON

So chad had decided to hang out with tia, "hey let's go! we're gonna be late!" I said "coming!!" said chad while tieing his shoelace. 

TIME SKIP

You all meet near the lakeside, "hey tiaa!!" I said "hey y/n!" she said, we hugged each other,"hey t" said chad blushing "hey chad!" said tia "so erm- y/n are you gonn-" before chad could finish "okay i know! I'm not gonna be a third wheel! I'm going!!" I said, they laugh awkwardly "k have fun guys" I said and winked at them.

TEXT MESSAGES

Y/N: sup fellas

TNT: Hi!

Y/N: So, guys you know that we're gonna be hanging out today, right?

CORY: of course 

TNT: pffft! we'd never forget that!

GARRET: When are we leaving tho?

Y/N: 4 pm :)

CODY: we'll be right there

TNT: I'll pick you up y/n

Y/N: thanks tt!

AT 4:30 PM

A few hours later, in the late afternoon. you're waiting outside your house for Tyler. after 10 minutes of waiting Tyler arrives in his car. "hey y/n!" said Tyler waving his hand at you. you get in the car, "ahh finally! what took you so long!?" I asked, "uhh I was trying to look good!" "you don't need to!" I said, Tyler blushes "hehe thanks" said ty "we're finally going on a picnic!" I said "after so much, I just want to have a nice day!" I said "we will," said ty. I looked him in the eyes "thanks ty, for always being at my side" I said, ty gave me a smile "always" said ty. I pulled him closer and our lips met, it was sweet and passionate. after moments we pull apart, we look at each other "and...you just made my day better!" said ty smiling. "I guess we should get going ty" I said "of course y/n" he said and smiled
