The next morning, James calls Celeste who's already on her way to Iris's, they have a gift for Alisa, they must wrap it for the party this evening. They bought her a necklace, they had been in France for work, Alisa loves Chanel, so they bought her a Chanel necklace, Celeste says it cost her almost a months wages but she knows that Alisa is going to love it. James bought her a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes, Alisa is going to be spoiled at this party. They spend the morning wrapping and eating Iris's wonderful food, she knew Celeste is vegan, she prepared some tasty and nutritious breakfast for her and she makes James a proper full English, she has learned how to make it before, James is even surprised she has his favourite brown sauce. Iris has known Celeste since she was a child, she feels nothing but love from her towards James, she truly loves him. Marielle comes down, she sees the gifts for Alisa, reminding her she needs to wrap hers, Celeste offers to do it for her? Marielle says, "I'd love that, thank you Celeste." Marielle kisses them all on the cheek, she hugs her dad and whispers good luck. He looks at her surprised and then remembers the conversation of the night before. Marielle calls Marc to see if he is going tonight? He says "of course, I'll pick you up at 7." Marielle spends the day with Celeste, James and Iris. Iris asks how they met? James said, "as soon as I entered the office she caught my eye, we've been inseparable ever since, it's hard not to love her, she is amazing." They all smile.

Iris isn't going to the party, she doesn't feel up to it, she sends a gift with those attending. Marc arrives to pick them up, they enter the huge home, it's bustling with people, mostly witches from different covens from across the county and her friends and family. In her family's coven, 18 is a special age, especially after getting her powers, the celebration is somewhat of a spell to protect her. A coming of age spell. They celebrate into the night, James has spent most of the evening with Celeste's father, he's been asking for her hand in marriage. At first Ethan says no, not because he doesn't like James but because of his job, but James assures him, once his deployment is up, he will seek a more permanent job, he is a lawyer by trade, so he promises Ethan that he will attend night school to learn all about the American legal system. The good thing is, he's been married to a witch before, this seals the deal with Ethan. He will know how to protect their secret and Celeste. So, Ethan agrees, he also agrees that he can use tonight to ask her. James nervously walks towards the microphone where a band was playing mere minutes before, he stands shaking from head to toe. He begins by wishing Alisa a happy birthday and he hopes she enjoys her presents? Alisa raises her glass and says, "thank you both, I love them." Then James rambles on about inane things, then gets down on one knee, the crowd gasps, he holds the mic, his hands shaking while fidgeting in his pockets for the ring, he takes out a box, he says, "Celeste, the moment I set my eyes on you in that dark and dingy office, you were the light my life needed, you have filled a painful heart with so much joy, I never thought I'd would be happy again. I never thought I would love again, then you made me the happiest man alive when I saw how you and my baby girl got on like a house on fire." Someone from the crowd shouts, "get on with it already." He laughs, then says, "what im trying to say, is, will you be my wife? I have done it properly, I sought your father's permission and he gave it, it wasn't easy but he finally agreed." Celeste runs towards the stage, almost slipping on the decking, she takes the ring, puts it on her engagement finger, then looks at him and says no. There's another gasp from the crowd, she laughs, "just kidding, I love you James, I love Marielle, it would be an honour to be your wife." The crowd cheered, he grabs his future wife and kisses her passionately. The crowd claps and they pop open bottles of champagne they have on ice, even the friends that Alisa invited were allowed one. The evening was a fine one. Alisa's school friends had curfews, they all must be home by 11, so once they left, the real party begins. Alisa must show her gift to the covens, Celeste and James there to witness it. They had two birthday cakes, one for when her friends were there, one she must light the candles herself at midnight to show the covens. Alisa is stood at the table, she focuses on the cake and the candles light. James is looking under the table, everyone laughs at him. He was amazed, he asks, "did you do that with your mind?" Alisa says, "yes, I'm a pyrokinetic, it's a powerful gift." The covens clap and honour her, welcoming her to every Sabbat from that moment on. James then asks Celeste, "be truthful, are you a witch too?" Celeste smiles, then says, "how would you feel if I was?" James looks at Celeste, he says, "I was married to a witch over 25 years, had i let her embrace her gift and allowed her coven to help her, she would still be alive. I'm happy to be marrying another, there must be something to do with fate? Marrying two witches?" Celeste says, "there's definitely a reason." Marielle approaches her father and Celeste and congratulated them, then tells her father that she too is a witch. He acts like he doesn't know, he says, "well you'll be in good company here, in your ancestral homeland, with people that understand your gift and you." Marielle is surprised at her fathers reaction, she hugs them both and tells Celeste, "welcome to the family. Thank you for making my dad so happy, you've made a miserable old man, so happy, he's finally the father I know and love." Celeste says, "thank you Marielle, it means a lot. I promise I won't ever take the place of your mother, I will be the best stepmom that I can be. I know I'll make mistakes along the way, but if you're patient with me, I'll be patient with you. Besides, we have so much in common. We'll make a good team." Marielle kisses her on the cheek and says, "i don't expect perfection, my mother wasn't perfect, we just need to be honest with each other. You must show my dad your gift now too." Celeste calls James away to a quiet corner, she says, "I've something to show you, don't be scared." James walks with her, she takes a plant pot and moves it with her mind. Celeste tells him she has telekinesis, James isn't shocked, apparently his wife had all three of the gifts he's been shown. He just wasn't convinced until now. Finally James knows everything, he gets to work carrying out his promise to Ethan. He enrols in night classes in D.C., he buys a house in Salem. Celeste helps push through both James' and Marielle's immigration status'.
