The night was slowly falling on Takodana and, for most part, the Resistants were going back into their rooms, in Maz's castle. The others gathered around a fire that had been lit few minutes ago.
Settled on a tree stump, Ly'ra was watching the whereabouts in front of her. Earlier in the afternoon, the decision had been made for all the Resistance to go back on Coruscant. Indeed, no other planet had yet been elected to take the place of Capital of the Galaxy after the destruction of the Hosnian system. The politics still alive had decided, with the help of Finn, Rose and Connix, to choose the planet-city as the new Capital, at least until the New Republic would be back into its function.
Bango and Nodin were finishing to fill up the ships for their next move, and the couple was quite used to squabble like kids, and Ly'ra couldn't help but thinking it was cute. As for Rey, she was seated further and she was studying carefully Skywalker's books, with the help of Cane, who seemed to have trouble staying focused on his reading. The young woman was probably wishing she would find more informations about the mysterious Mortis.
The whereabouts didn't stop as the evening was starting. A majority of the people who had followed Lando during the Battle of Exegol were now back home. But few of them had decided to stay and help the Resistance with the remaining battles. According to her own and personal opinion, Ly'ra didn't really appreciate this sudden infatuation. Now that all the most important, and dangerous, fights were over, and that they all stayed hidden while the Resistance was losing all its members one after the other, the population was gathering and agreed to fight. Of course, she had appreciated their help on Exegol, but this burning desire to want to fight now that all was over, kinda infuriated her. Even more when a group of newbies (mostly girls), were following everywhere the High Command's members, just to be noticed.
"General! General, I made a list of everything we would need once we'll be on Coruscant."
"Thanks Oxana."
"My pleasure General Dameron..."
Poe nodded absent-mindly at the girl before he noticed Ly'ra settled next to the fire. He was about to head towards her when the young Resistant called him once more:
"Oh General, do you need anything else?"
The pilot turned back towards the girl who was fluttering her eyelashes innocently. Ly'ra chose this moment to step forward. She stood up and stepped closer to Poe and the little unwise.
"I think you can go to sleep now. It's late and probably bed time for you. You can let the adults talk now."
Oxana glared dangerously at the young woman who was clearly amused by her attempt of intimidation. She smiled before allowing a threatening red light appeared in her eyes. Finally, and probably feeling she couldn't go further, the young girl stepped back.
"Alright... Goodnight General."
Silent until now, Poe arched a brow and slowly turned his eyes on his wife who offered him an innocent smile.
"What?"
"What was that?"
Ly'ra rolled her eyes and turned on her heels, sighing.
"You really don't see a thing Dameron, it's unbelievable!"
Poe glanced behind him before following the young woman near the fire.
"What are you talking about?"
"You are still a seducer, no matter what!"
The pilot let out a small sigh, trying to hide an amused smile, in vain, before removing his leather jacket to place in on his wife's shoulders.
