"Breathe in deeply... And now, breathe out very slowly. That's it. Once again."

It was nearly five days now that the moving to Coruscant had started and according to the last datas, the New Republic Fleet should reach the Capital the next day. During this time, all the crew members had found something to do, including Rey and Ly'ra.

Indeed, the girls had shared their researches about Mortis and Korriban and the training sessions with their first Padawan. By looking through the Holonet with Bango, Rey had found that the Library of the former Jedi Temple on Coruscant should have some interesting informations that could help them in their quest. During this time, Ly'ra was spending some time alone with Cane, trying to help him with the meditation, a point he seemed to have troubles with.

Facing the Zabrak, the young woman was studying him attently as he was trying to stay focused. She couldn't help but thinking the situation was kind of funny, because usually, she was the one who had troubles with focusing on something and meditate and she remembered that Ben never really worked with her on that point, prefering training her on fights and the control of her powers. Now, Rey was taking care on this part of the training, while the mum-to-be had no other choice but staying calm.

As for Cane, he was listening carefully to the young woman's advices, but his spirit never seemed to stop thinking about other things, bothered by the noises in the corridors, the moves of the ship and his endless need to move. He hated not doing anything, he needed actions.

After few more seconds, he sighed and opened his eyes.

"Forget that, I can't do it."

"Cane..."

The Zabrak shook his head and stood up, raising his hands in the air.

"Look, even Luke couldn't keep me focused long enough to reach anything!"

The young woman stayed silent a moment, keeping her green eyes on her friend before letting out a sigh, shrugging.

"Alright then... I thought you were stronger than that."

Surprised by Ly'ra's words, Cane turned back towards her and frowned.

"What do you mean?"

"Well... I thought that you never stepped back in front of a challenge. That's how you were when we were working together. But I guess the lack of actions and the fact that you stayed hidden for so long had affected you more than you thought."

With this said, the young woman turned on her heels and was ready to leave the room when she was called out by her friend.

"Hey wait!"

Ly'ra hid a very small smile before looking back at him, pretending to be tired.

"Yeah?"

Cane offered an amused smile before answering:

"I know what you're doing. You're provoking me so I wanna show you that you're wrong. And that I can do it."

The young woman leaned her right shoulder on the wall next to her and tilted her head.

"And does it work?"

"It pisses me off more than anything else, so if it was your goal, than yes, it works."

Ly'ra took a deep breath and stepped closer to her friend, a hand on her tummy.

"Look, I know it sounds easier than it actually is. I'm the first one who tried everything to avoid this kind of work, because I hate that. Honestly. But someone really wise once told me that it was a necessary exercise for a Jedi. And contrary to me, Cane, you're a Jedi. So, you're gonna put your ass back on that seat, close your eyes and focus!"
