"Are you sure about your move here?"
"If I didn't know you Armitage, I'd say you were scared..."
The young Officer glared at his former companion before sighing at her amused smile. After leaving the future Chancellor's office, the former lovers quickly made their way to the docks where Ly'ra took a small XJ-2 Airspeeder, before heading down to the shallows. Hux had never set foot in such unsavory neighborhoods, even from his days working under Snoke on the planet.
"Don't worry... I know enough to convince them to help us. Just keep your face hidden under the hood. A former First Order officer isn't exactly welcome here..."
Armitage didn't answer, simply wondering how the young woman he had known all those years ago had become the woman she was today. A strong woman, a warrior and now a mother. A far cry from the quiet, docile little girl he had noticed at that party many years ago. Once Ly'ra landed the small ship in a narrow alley, the young mother took a deep breath, adjusted her belt where her sabers and Blaster were attached, before walking down the small dark street. It wasn't the kind of neighborhood the more affluent residents of Coruscant usually found themselves in, but she had discovered it through Bango and Dante after her escape.
The couple walked for a few minutes before a voice came from behind them.
"Well, well, well... Who might that be?"
Ly'ra and Armitage stopped before turning to face a large Chagrian. The blue-skinned Alien looked down at them, an evil smile on his face.
"But this is the famous Ly'ra Kaplan... That's quite a payday you tell me..."
The young woman didn't flinch, even letting the creature get closer. After sighing, she raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms over her chest. She didn't want to waste her time with a jerk like him.
"I'm here to see Callio. I have a proposition for him."
The Chagrian had a pause before frankly laughing at the young woman's aplomb.
"Because you think that after your disappearance he will want to talk to you? Don't be stupid Cap and go back to the Nabobs of the Upper World."
Hux frowned and leaned toward the young woman.
"Callio? Wait, are you talking about Callio Fastir? The new leader of the Crimson Dawn?"
Ly'ra didn't answer him, keeping her green eyes fixed on the Alien who continued to laugh foolishly.
"Your little buddy isn't very smart tell me! Trust me, go back to where you came from before you get serious..."
But the Chagrian didn't have time to finish his sentence. He quickly found himself surrounded by a red glow that tackled him against the wall of the club he had just left. Stunned by the violence of the blow, he didn't dare make a move when a purple lightsaber blade appeared under his throat.
"Did you mean trouble? Don't worry about it, Gritto, I've never been afraid of you and that's always been the problem. But right now, we'll settle our accounts later. Coruscant is going to be under attack in a very short time, and the Senate is running out of pilots. They have a more than honorable offer to make you in exchange for your help, so I'm going to ask you one last time. I want to see Callio. I know that when you're here, the chief isn't far away, so where is he?"
"I'm here Ly'ra..."
Slowly emerging from the shadows, surrounded by a group of hired killers, Callio Fastir appeared. The Alien, a Rogue, offered a cold smile to the young woman and her companion before slowly approaching.
