Steve:
"So that's it?" I turned to see Stark taking a drink from his glass. He had just seen everything, I'm sure.
"I suppose it is. She's not giving me much choice." I muttered as I stood up straight.
"I think she's giving you plenty choice. It's just a matter of you seeing it." I brought my eyebrows together in confusion asI stared at him. "Come on, Rogers. I know you don't know how everything works in this decade, but I'm sure you can put it together."
"Unless you are planning on telling me, leave me alone." I muttered, I couldn't see what he saw clearly.
Tony chuckled and took another swig of his drink. "You'll figure it out. Just remember, if you love something, let it go. If it was meant to be-"
"It'll come back. Yeah I know that phase." I sighed. "But I don't want to let her go."
"I know. But she's going through her own thing that you just can't help her with. I think it'd be good for her to leave for a bit." I snapped my gaze to him. Leave?
"Bucky won't let that happen." I muttered.
"Won't he?" Tony knew something. "I think he would if he would get her back for good." I didn't like serious Tony Stark. He was smart, calculating and usually right. Always there to make a point I didn't get. I hated that. He was right. Tony nodded and left the room to leave me to my thoughts.
I don't want to let her go. I just got her. Would she come back to me? Were we meant to be? Or was I just attached because she was my first? I hate to think like that. I didn't love her because of that, I mean it was good. But I loved her for her smile, her eyes, the way she opened Bucky up. The way she would make weird faces if things were too serious. There was so many more things to love about her. How she held herself tall, or how she forgave her brother in the end. She was strong and bold. Sometimes blunt.
I knew what I had to do. I was going to let her go. Not in a way I would be happy though. I'm pushing her away. Let her go, so she can come back. Damn you Tony for making a point.

Turns out Tony had planned a party for tonight. It's been a while since he threw one. I was currently getting ready in my room. I turned when I heard my door open and close. Bucky looked stressed.
"I'm not going down there." He said, his voice seemed rough.
"Why not? Stark won't be happy."
"You haven't seen Freyja's outfit have you?" Bucky swallowed hard. "I can't be down there and not be with her. I don't get why you are so okay with this."
"I'm not. But this is what she wants. We can't force her to be with us." I tried to reason with him.
"I can damn well try. What's your plan, Rogers?" He was upset and annoyed, I could hear it. I sighed.
"I'm just going to enjoy the night." I said as we walked out of my room.
"Yeah, that won't be easy." I sighed again and we went down the elevator. I could hear the music in the living area. Music and chatter. This was going to be a long night.
Then I saw her. She was wearing a short black dress with one long see through sleeve and so material hanging off her other side. The way it sparkled made her radiant. Her brown hair was curled and pulled into a high smoothed ponytail. My breath hitched and Bucky patted my back.
"Now you see what I mean." We were both staring at her for too long, cause she looked up, nodding to Bucky and turning back to Thor and Loki, laughing together. I missed her. "Well I'm going to go sulk at the bar and pretend I can get drunk." With that Bucky walked away. I looked around and saw Sam playing pool in the corner, so I made my way over to him.
"Hey Cap! Want in?" He asked, grinning as he nodded to Rhodey as he walked away. "Rhodey was annoyed I was winning too much."
"Sure, rack them up." I said grabbing a pool stick from the side. I watched as he racked the pool balls up at the end and leaned over a he lifted the frame. Lining up my shot I hit the cue ball and watched it break them, one solid went into one of the pockets.
"So what's going on with you and Frey?" Sam asked as he watched me shot another, not getting any in. I shrugged.
"Nothing I guess." I answered as he hit and got two solids in.
"Woo-hoo" He cheered chuckling. "What do you mean nothing? I see how you look at that girl. I can see the way Bucky is looking at her right now." I turned slightly to see Bucky staring at her, watching her every move. He hated this, but I did too.
"Yeah well, nothing is happening. She wanted to push us away, so we let her." I muttered as he made another shot.
"That easily?" He questioned as he made yet another shot, missing finally.
"That easily." I leaned over to make a shot but missed as a voice interrupted up me.
"Well hello there Captain." I turned to see Sharon Carter standing there. She looked great, not like Freyja of course, but great nonetheless.
"Hey Sharon." I smiled at her politely.
"Haven't seen you in a while, where've you been hiding?" She asked leaning against the table. Sam looked at me, a bit annoyed.
"Anywhere you aren't." Sam muttered under his breath, I chuckled.
"Just here and there. How've you been?" I asked, I saw pass her where Frey was watching us. Her eyes flashing a bit. Was she...jealous? No, there's no way. I smirked, only way to find out. I stepped towards Sharon, leaning in to whisper in her ear, "You look great by the way." I heard Sam miss the cue ball, shocked at what I was doing. He knew. I pulled back to smile at her, looking past her to see Freyja was gone. Loki was shaking his head with disappointment at me. I walked away from Sharon before she could even respond to me. It was rude, yes. But I did not want to go down that path again anyway.
"What is with you Midguardians and messing with my poor sister?" Loki asked, he was in his usually black suit, looking like he was forced to be here, probably because he was.
"What do you mean?" I asked. I knew what I was doing, I probably shouldn't have tested her jealous.
"Making her upset. Pushing her buttons." Loki looked over to where his sister was now, by Bucky, talking. I felt heat through my body. She was talking to him? "You really shouldn't try to make a Goddess jealous. It's a stupid decision on your part. I really thought you were the more decent one." Loki said as he walked away. I stared over at Freyja and Bucky. He was smiling at her as she was touching his arm. I really messed up.
