Spilled Coffee

Battling with his own drowsiness, Jimin glance again, for the nth time, at the clock on the wall. Showing it was already eleven in the evening but his partner hasn't arrived yet. He was now ready to call the other when the one he has been waiting suddenly showed up with his laptop and piled of folders on his hand making Jimin to run towards his boyfriend and helped him carry half of paper works to lessen the weight the younger was holding. Those simple actions made Jungkook smiled at his boyfriend's sweetness and kissed his temple.

The couple went straight to Jungkook's office room inside their house and Jimin waited for the younger to settle everything there so they can leave the room together. Unfortunately, the younger just sit on his chair and opens his laptop oblivious of Jimin's presence that was still waiting for him.

"Babe it's already late, just finish that tomorrow" Jimin said with his arms folded

"I need to finish everything now babe, tomorrow's the due" with that, the younger ignored his boyfriend's presence again and continue focusing on his task.

Jimin, on the other hand, can't refrain himself from sulking. Jungkook has been focusing on his work lately. Jimin was not complaining tho. As an heir, it is clearly Jungkook's responsibility to do well on their business, and Jimin knows that, but sometimes he can't deny the fact that he misses the attention his boyfriend was giving him. He was actually looking forward to this day since the latter promised him that he will finish everything at the company so they could cuddle and sleep together, just like what they used to do before, but to his dismay, Jungkook broke his promise again, for the third time.

"Babe..Babe..Hey Jimin"

Jimin got back to his senses by the latter's voice, he just realized he was still standing on his position. They were just looking at each other, both showing a blank expression making Jimin to clear his throat and smiled at his boyfriend.

"You're spacing out, just sleep when you're sleepy okay?" Jimin shook his head, smile was still visible on his face.

" I'm not sleepy yet, anyway I cooked a dinner for you let me just get it" Jungkook was about to respond when Jimin quickly went out to grab the food he cooked making the younger left a sigh.

"Babe here's your dinner"

Jimin proudly placed the tray on the table. It was actually his boyfriend's favorite dish and he was indeed excited to let the younger try it. Jimin was not an excellent cook honestly, he only knew how to follow instructions but not yet good enough since there were times the food he cooked was lacking at something. Specially in taste so he really practiced a lot doing the dish.

Though he was excited he also felt nervous. What if it taste bad? What if the younger wouldn't like it? What if younger would only get disappointed of him for ruining his favorite food. So many what ifs.

"About that babe, I already ate outside with my colleagues before going home" Jungkook gave him an apologetoc look as he grab the tray and placed it on the smaller table near his large table with piled of paperworks

"Oh" the only word that left his lip.

He has time eating with them but let me eat on my own he thought but just decided to ignore the jealousy he felt. Maybe the latter just felt so hungy awhile that makes him forget his promise to have dinner with him and eat with his colleagues instead.

"Then what about cof--"

"Babe you don't need to okay? Just go and rest. I know you're tired, besides I need to concentrate with this paperworks" the younger replied without even looking the older's face.
