Ezra Day

It would be the 20th Empire Day, and Ezra Bridger's Birthday. He doesn't celebrate his birthday,especially since his parents died 7 years ago, and his master Kanan died when he was 14. The Ghost Crew knew not to make a deal about it. Sabine would like to make the day special despite Ezra's Protests.

Morning at the tower.

Ezra woke up to find Sabine in the kitchen. "Morning Ezra." The 22 year old Mandalorian said. "You're in a good mood Sabine." Ezra told her as he fixed himself a mug of Caff (Coffee).

The Mandalorian Girl smiled. "It's the first time since the Liberation of Lothal you've been home on your birthday." Ezra forced a smile. "Sabine you know I don't like to Celebrate my birthday." Ezra told her as he pet there Loth Wolf Dune. "I know, I just wanted to make the day less of a bummer for you." She said.

"Any day with you is a great day Sabine." The young Jedi told her. "There's one thing I forgot to tell you Ezra." Sabine said as she sat breakfast on the counter. "What did you forget to tell me?" He asked. "Lothal has kind of made your birthday a holiday, since you sacrificed yourself to liberate the planet." She said.

Ezra took a second to process what his girlfriend had just said. "You mean my homeworld Celebrates my birthday and sees me as some kind of hero?" He asks. "Yeah, they wanted you to speak but I let them know you don't really like to Celebrate your birthday." Sabine said.

"Well maybe we could drop in, we need to pick up a few things anyways." Ezra said with a smile. Sabine kissed Ezra on the cheek and they ate breakfast. After Breakfast the two rebels went downstairs and drove a Speeder bike into the Capital.

Ezra Day Parade- Capital City

Sabine let go of Ezra's waist and jumped off the bike after he parked it. "So how do we normally celebrate Ezra Day?" The holiday's namesake asked. "Well Mr. Bridger people tell stories about the great liberator of Lothal, and there's a parade." Sabine explained. "Any special guests at this celebration?" Ezra asked.

"Normally I speak since I knew you personally, Occasionally members of the crew would join but mostly just me." She explained. "Well then I guess today the great liberator will speak to the masses." Ezra said with a smirk.

The Parade Grounds.

The Citizens of Lothal were gathered for the Ezra Day Parade, the Governor was speaking when Ezra himself Arrived. The crowds silenced as the two heroes made their way to the podium. Ezra shook hands with the governor and approached the podium. "Hi everyone, I'm Ezra Bridger. The guy this holiday is named after. I wish I had something better to say but I had no idea my birthday was a holiday until this morning." He said before looking to Sabine for reassurance. "I would have came home sooner but Grand Admiral Thrawn had other plans. I was imprisoned for the last almost 6 years on his star destroyer." The Jedi said. "All that matters now is that I'm back to with the Girl and planet I love. Everyone enjoy the Parade and have a good rest of your Day." Ezra said before leaving the Stage, hand and hand with Sabine.

"Ezra that was great." Sabine said as they made there way to the Market after his speech. "Thanks Sabine, Maybe next year I'll have something prepared." He said with a laugh.

Back at the bike after the market.

Ezra and Sabine loaded up there groceries in their Speeders saddle bag and left for the tower. As the bike topped a hill Ezra Noticed the Ghost had landed nearby. After Ezra parked the bike he ran to find the whole crew there. Hera, Zeb, Chopper, Kallas, Rex, Wolf, Ashoka, and some kid Ezra don't recognize. "He guys, what are you doing here?" He asked.

"What can't we just want to visit our favorite Jedi?" Wolf said. "He means Ashoka made some calls and Hera decided a Reunion was in order." Kallas said. "We've messed you kid." Zeb said before giving Ezra a noogie. "Thanks I've missed you guys too." Ezra said before looking at Hera.

Hera walked up to Ezra and Slapped him. "That was for running off across the Galaxy without telling us your plan. And this is for coming back in one piece." She said before hugging Ezra. "I'm sorry Hera, Who's the kid by the way?" He asked. "Spectre 6, meet Specter 7 Jacen Syndulla." Ashoka told Ezra. "You mean Kanan and Hera.. That's wonderful!" Ezra said before inviting everyone in.

Later that evening on the balcony.

Everyone was watching the Ezra Day fireworks, Ezra and Sabine were next to each other. "Sabine, I've been meaning to tell you something." He said. "I'm all ears Ezra." She said looking into his eyes. "Sabine Wren, Thank you for protecting Lothal when I was away, and I want you to know I love you." He said. Sabine looked into his eyes and smiled. "I love you too Ezra Bridger." He learned in and they kissed as the Finaly of the fireworks show went off.
