Isabelle's POV
Hello! I'm Isabelle, but you can call me Emma, no one really calls me that, but that's how I imagine my name is in my head, I know, kind of weird, but that's just me I guess.
This is basically about the adventure in my life that made it interesting. I live in the land, or Empire, called Alantis, It's a huge Archipelago, with a ginormous main island, surrounded by many little islands.
Alantis is split into five kingdoms; The fire kingdom, Marva, the water kingdom, Zallin, the air kingdom, Idzora, the earth kingdom, Kūmarr, (where I live) and the last supposed 'most powerful' kingdom is called 'the center city' or Liaon, not sure what element they're supposed to represent.
Anyway, from what you may have heard, this place seems nice enough.
But there's a catch: it's not. It's at war.
One side is Upheld by the 'Supreme' King or Emperor of Alantis and the capital city/kingdom Liaon, with the kingdoms of Kūmarr and Idzora, while the other was led by The kingdom of Marva supported by rebels from all over Alantis.
Meanwhile the kingdom of Zallin was neutral, it didn't really seem to get included since the kingdom was mostly a scatter of separate islands therefore it wasn't really affected. The Emperor was the son of the previous emperor and therefor had an 'obvious' royal right to the throne, but the king of Marva strongly disagreed, declaring the new emperor unfit to lead the other kingdoms, henceforth declaring war against him. Now something I didn't tell you people earlier, is that I'm a princess, as you might have figured out by now, I'm the princess of the earth kingdom, the princess of Kūmarr.
My Father, was the king and in that moment, was battling enemy forces, for a invaluable fortress, which was priceless for having the upper hand in the war, thanks to its strategically placed position, and sheer size among other things. And that's kind of how it all began...
