Toad 2: Electric Boogaloo

The scene fades in, revealing you, Aqua, and Kazuma sitting rather close to the fire.

"Aqua, did you try drinking my tea?" You looked over to your cup of water.

Aqua looked to the side. "No..." The o dragged out for a few seconds.

"Ughh... I'll go get myself some tea, because someone keeps purifying my water." You take your glass and pour the contents on the vegetation outside, before going to the kitchen.

As you walked through the hallway to get to the kitchen, you saw Megumin walking to the Living Room while holding a small cat.

"Hey, Megumin, what do you got there?"

"A smoothie."

Megumin holds the cat towards you. "This is Chomuske. She's been with me for a while so... Please help me convince Kazuma to let us keep her here."

"Okay." You motion for Megumin to follow you.

Megumin watches as you start pouring tea into your cup. "Oh, are you pouring Kazuma tea to get on his good side?"

"No, this is for me..." You look to Megumin and shake the cup. "Want some?"

Megumin shook her head.

"Okay, let's go."

You and Megumin walk towards the living room, side by side. As you walk, you scratch Chomuske's ears.

The living room door opens as Aqua and Kazuma are sitting calmly next to each other. Kazuma looks toward you and Megumin as you walk back in.  "Y/n, do you know where Darkness is?"

"She needed to go back to her house to pay back some favors she had to call in for the trial. She should be back in a few days."

Kazuma nodded, before spotting Chomuske. "Megumin, why do you have a cat?" Kazuma walked towards the cat and started petting her. "They're pretty cute."

Aqua approached Chomuske and got scratched. "This little... The attitude combined with their black fur, along with this malevolent aura. I'm sure this cat is demonic."

"Yeah, Megumin just wanted to know if we could keep Chomuske."

Kazuma raised an eyebrow, "Chomuske? You named it Chomuske?"

Megumin held Chomuske close to herself. "Chomuske."

"Alright. Chomus-" Kazuma was interrupted by a loud thud.

"Kazuma Satou." The Prosecutor is back.

"Why, Sena, do we have to kill these toads?"

Your group was conscripted to kill toads that were nearing Axel. Apparently they have been waking up early and began getting a little to close to town. Megumin had just cast her Explosion and fell onto the ground, next to you and Sena.

"Someone has been casting Explosion magic to close to town, and since you have the mage known directly for only using Explosion magic, we put two and two together." Sena answered.

"Do you know for a fact that it was Megumin, or are you just guessing?"

Sena gained a shy expression, before walking away.

"That's what I thought. Well, I'm gonna go stab some frogs, stay safe Explosion Loli." You walked away from Megumin, who's eyes started glowing menacingly.
