The house was cold and quiet when he walked downstairs. "Mom? Dad?" chenle shouted as he hopped down the stairs almost falling. He was incredible clumsy and always found himself in complicated situations.  He spotted the note on the dinning room table when he came down. His parents had left for another important business trip in china and would be there for almost half a year. His phone suddenly rang alerting him that someones calling. He quickly picked up after he say that it was his mom calling. "Hey mom." he said into the phone while walking to turn on all the lights. "Hi sweetie. Did you see the note I left for you?" She asked. "Yup. don't worry i'll be fine by myself." He told he as he walked to the kitchen to start on breakfast. "I know honey it's just that we got a call earlier and it turns out we'll have to stay for about a year. Of course you could come over here with us. We can even apply you to one of the best schools here." his mom rambled on. "Mom it's ok, I want to stay here plus I can take care of myself." He reasoned with his mom. "Ok then but take care. Me and your dad will check in with you once in a while. I love you." His mom finally said. "I love you too." chenle said before hanging up. He quietly sighed to himself before bringing his breakfast into the dinning room. The house was so ghostly quiet that it startled him when he heard a loud knock on the door. He shoved the rest of the toast into his mouth before running to open the door. "Hey chenle!" His best friend donghyuck was at the door. "Hey what are you doing here?" chenle asked letting his friend into the house. "Well my parents knew that your parents are on another business trip so they let me come over to keep you company. Plus my parents are leaving today too. The'll be gone a lot longer then yours though." Donghyuck explained plopping himself down on the couch. Donghyuck's parents were family friends with his parents so the two basically grew up together. "Ok well let me get dress for school." chenle told donghyuck before running up the stairs to his bedroom to get ready. A few minutes later he was running back down the stairs. "ok i'm ready." he grabbed his backpack and open the door not even waiting for donghyuck. "Geez chenle, when have you ever been this excited for school?" Donghyuck asked trying to catch up with the younger. "I'm just excited to see people." Chenle shrugged. "yea I get it." Donghyuck said before linking his arms with chenle as the walked to school. As soon as they walked through the doors of the school they were pulled into a hug by none other then Na jaemin also one of chenle's best friends. Jaemin had always took care of chenle almost like a mom. "There you guys are!" jaemin squealed pulling them through the crowded hallway. "What are you talking about nana? We're 10 minutes early." Donghyuck said when they reached their classroom. "I know it's just that I have really exiting news!!" Jaemin was practically jumping from excitement. "What is it?" chenle asked. "I adopted 2 cats!" Jaemin admitted doing a little dance in his seat. The three of them were luck enough to have all of their classes together so they always made sure to sit next to each other. "WHAT? WHEN?" donghyuck shrieked getting attention from their classmates. "Yesterday when I was going on my walk. I saw a small box and there was two abandon small cats inside so I decided that I would be an amazing human that day and save there freaking lives!" Jaemin explained. "You just adopted them jaemin it's not that big of a deal." donghyuck rolled his eyes. "They could have starve to death out there!" Jaemin reasoned. "Or someone else could have adopted them too." Donghyuck rebutted. Jaemin pouted, he hated when someone one upped him. They quieted down once class began.
