Harry's POV

"Guys, you have to read this," screamed Niall as he ran into the room. I just rolled my eyes, it's probably just another new restaurant opening or something.

"What’s up Niall, Nando's close down or something?" asked Louis. I burst out laughing, Niall would probably die if that ever happened. He shot us the meanest glare he could get and said, "no, some chick named Vanessa is bashing on our band."

I chuckled, "now Niall, I thought you'd be used to the hate by now, I read hate basically everyday you don't see me screaming and whining about it."

"This isn't just any Vanessa, and it's not really hate it's her true feelings about us, what she wrote really hurt because she said it as a fan, not a hater. Also, this Vanessa is one of the most popular column writers for Marie Claire and one of Justin Bieber's ex back up dancers. She left because of some family issues and found a hard time getting her job back as they already replaced her."

Me and Louis just stared at him and then burst out laughing,  "damn Niall, you seem to have this girl's history memorized, someone's in love."

Niall just huffed and threw the magazine on the floor and stormed up to his room. Poor kid, when is he going to get used to hate. Louis went to pick the magazine up and started reading it with wide eyes and I swear I saw a tear in his eyes. Immediately I knew this wasn't just any hate if it got to Louis.

"Hey mate what's wrong, is it really that bad?" I asked. He didn't say anything, he just continued reading, flung the magazine at my face and stormed up to his room, I swear I heard him slam his door shut. I rolled my eyes, "what a couple of babies." I picked up the magazine and started reading.

"So, recently a lot has been going on about Harry Styles and Taylor Swift. Lots of hate and everything and that's the first issue I'd like to bring up. It's extremely wrong when people think it's okay to interfere in his life. Like, I know they're good singers, extremely hot and famous and they're ONE DIRECTION but really, what's the big deal about them? All they're doing is following their dreams and doing what they love but yet girls all around the world are making their parents go bankrupt buying concert tickets, meet & greet tickets, posters, random merchandise like TAKE IT EASY. I have to admit, I was quite impressed when I heard there music and I think they are amazing especially Harry, man can that boy sing but honestly my days of fangirling over them are over because they have disappointed me to the point where I can't even look at them the same way anymore. These boys, ladies and gentlemen have let fame get to them. Yes, they work hard every day trying to please their fans but if you really think about it, are they doing this because they truly care about all of us? On that note, ask yourself what has this band done to deserve what they have right now? They auditioned for X-Factor and were put in a band, impressed a judge and were signed and now they're number one everywhere. No doubt, they worked very hard but what have they done to earn my or anyone else's respect? How are they role models? How are they an inspiration to other singers who aren't as fortunate as to get to audition for X-Factor. I guess the point I am trying to make is that I don't understand why people are making them such a big deal because in my eyes, they don't deserve half the stuff they have gotten even if there music is amazing. They don't understand how important fans are and without understanding that, nobody deserves to be a celebrity, because without us, there is no One Direction. There is no tour, no shows, and no money. Every time I watch an interview, I always hear them talking about how they would love to date a fan, but are they truly willing to do that? I'm starting to think that the boys are lying when they say would date fans. Think about it: we've heard tons about them hooking up with fans and having one night stands. But when it comes to who they are seeing, in a relationship with, have dated or are interested in- let's check the scoreboard, shall we? Perrie from Little Mix: Singer. Caroline Flack: TV Personality. Danielle Peazer: Professional dancer. Eleanor Calder: Model. Georgia Jagger: Model/daughter of rockstar Mick Jagger. Demi Lovato: Actress/singer. Taylor Swift: Singer. Emily Ostilly: Model. So to any Directioner in obscurity who desires or thinks they have a chance to ROMANTICALLY be with one of the boys, you may as well give up now. I'm sorry to be so blunt, and I don't want to break anyone's hearts out there because a lot of Directioners are actually gorgeous, nice, funny, decent people. But that's the way it is, apparently. And to be honest with you: I'm a little disappointed in the boys. Not because of who they date (I'm sure they're all nice ladies nonetheless), but because of how they treat fans. In particular, Harry and Zayn.  Fans are not for your entertainment where you can use them when you don't have someone famous to date and it's embarrassing that fans are so low as to let the boys treat you that way. One night stands and hook ups? Do you honestly think the boys care even a little about dating you? (A/N a small part of this article was taken from a Tumblr page, and is written by a user that goes by the name of "seizetheday-ownthenight). I could go on and on about this but I think me saying anything increases my chances of being killed by those so called directioners. I really do hope people don't take me as a hater, a hater is someone who hates on One Direction for no reason. One Direction is a boyband who makes music and I love there music but the members really do irritate me. Everything I have said is my opinion and I am not afraid to say what I think and back it up with reasons. Back on the topic of Haylor, all I have to say about that is one to the directioners, please understand that you are not Harry's mother and you have no control over what he does, you guys are all fans of there music so please keep it till that. And to Harry, without your fans you wouldn't be close to where you are today so think twice before you ignore a fan's plea for you to follow them on Twitter or before you talk bad about fans screaming in your face when that might have  been the one and only chance they had to meet you. Other than that, I have nothing more I would like to say."
