Review:
Book 3 of this wonderful, crazy story.

I like this, it goes into detail about how Cal felt, how his friends is dealing with this, knowing truth about him.

Though spy part and assassination was plot twist, during this whole book, it was about figuring out who's the spy and who trying to kill Cal, while also worrying about tests. Typical school stuff.

Assembly's mage, Anastasia whatever her last name has a secret, secret she hadn't told no one, and way she acted around others. Frosty yet somewhat kind, almost like a mother.

She is stepmother to a kid named Alex, so there's that. She also told our characters that she was married before marrying Alex's father.

Another mystery.

Toward end of book, I don't know Why I was surprised, Alex was far to good to be a good guy, fuck that kid.

He killed off my favorite character.

What surprised me most was that
Anastasia was mother to original maker, one they call enemy of death.

That was a plot twist!
