It’s a beautiful day. The sun is shining and it’s not oppressive. The birds are chirping but it’s not a cacophony. Plants are dancing to the soft breeze and it brushes your face, gifting you with a feeling of refreshment. You walk down the road and greet everyone you see. Everyone left their masks at home and for once, all the smiles are real. No one’s playing dress up trying to be someone they’re not, trying to impress someone who isn’t worth the hassle. The warmth from natural smiles and happiness encases you in a bubble of love and appreciation. Some would say that the world has reached a collective state of Nirvana. Everyone is at peace with themselves.
However, the first sentence of this story is “beautiful day’, not beautiful life. You’re experiencing what would happen if the seven sins were petty. If people didn’t let them manifest into something that not only destroys the world, but destroys them. This is a look into what the world can be. It’s possible, but most likely very far away. But for now, while the creatures are still about and the air is still fresh, it’s a beautiful day.
