Drops of rain landed onto the blue eyed girls hand, she sighed and started to make her way down the sidewalk, it was about a 10 minute walk home. Marinette had gone to the market for her parents, as she walked she felt as if someone was watching her, she walked a little faster. All of a sudden something touched her shoulder, she jumped and turned around with a Yelp.

Her eyes met a pair of emerald greens ones.

Chat noir.

"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you princess." He chuckled, "Chat! Don't scare me like that again." She hollered. "Will do princess." He winked. "Anyway, what are you doing out here, alone on a Sunday night? That's dangerous." He questioned the girl.

"Getting some things from the store, I was just walking home until you scared me, chat." She said. He smiled at the girl, "I'll walk with you, I don't want you to walk alone at night." Chat noir said. Marinette struggled to hold the heavy bags she was carrying, and chat noir noticed. He took the bags from the girls hand.

Marinette gave him a soft smile and they both walked down the empty Paris streets. They talked about a few things, Marinette was happy to talk to him. And he was happy to talk to her.

Once they reached Marinettes house, chat noir handed her the bags and opened the door for her. "Thanks kitty," she giggled. "Anything for the princess." He winked. Marinette said her goodbyes to chat and then walked inside the bakery. "Who was that you where talking to?" Her mother asked. "Oh just a friend." She smiled.

Marinette leaned against the railing of the balcony, she stared into the night sky. "What are you doing out here this late?" A voice said from behind Marinette, it caused her to jump, almost falling off the balcony. "Woah, careful there." A pair of leather hands wrapped around Marinettes waist.

"C-chat noir! You scared me!" Marinette yelped as she took a deep breath. "Sorry about that," he chuckled. He quickly took his hands off of Marinette and scratched the back of his neck. "Sorry, again." He let out a small chuckle.

Marinette playfully hit his shoulder and laughed, "What are YOU doing out here this late, chat noir?"

"Patrolling." He said.

Marinette leaned back against the railing, chat noir next to her. "It's beautiful." She smiled, staring at the sky. "Indeed it is." He replied, Marinette could feel a pair of eyes staring at her but she brushed it off.

"Well I better get going, purrincess." He sighed. "I'll probably come visit you again tomorrow," he smiled. "And I will try not to scare you again." He chuckled. Marinette giggled. He stood next to the girl and grabbed her hand, his lips brushed across her knuckles. He grabbed his baton and jumping into the darkness. Marinette felt her face turn red and she quickly went inside.

"Marinette! Marinette wake up! Your gonna be late for school!" A small squeaky voice said to the sleeping girl. Marinette groaned and raised up from bed, she rubbed her eyes and climbed down the ladder, she tiredly walked towards her closet and picked out an outfit. She wore her normal, pink pants, with a white T-shirt and a grey jacket. She brushed through her hair and out them into two pigtails. She grabbed her bag and rushed downstairs. "Good morning mama, papa." She said and grabbed a Croissant and a macaroon, she stuck the macaroon into her bag for Tikki and ate the croissant on the way to school, she checked the time and it read 7:55.

"I'm going to be late!" She yelped and rushed to school, she rushed up the stairs, careful not to fall and ran into the classroom, she tripped over her foot and fell onto the classroom floor with a loud thump. "Marinette Dupain-Cheng, would you like to explain why your late?" Mrs bustier questioned. "Well I-I I um-" Marinette sighed, "I woke up late." She said.

"Since when is Marinette not late?!" Choose snickered. Marinette scoffed and got up and brushed herself off. "Go have a seat Marinette." Mrs bustier sighed. "You gotta start waking up early, girl." Alya whispered. "If only it were that easy." Marinette sighed.

After a few boring classes, lunch came. Marinette walked down the street, towards the bakery to get her lunch. Once she got to the bakery, she seen that her parents were busy, she sighed and grabbed her lunch. She never really got to speed time with her parents since they were always so busy with the bakery. She walked out of the bakery and back towards the school. Walking up the steps, she could hear her name being called, she turned around to see a blonde model rushing towards her. "Marinette!" He called. "A-Adrien! H-h-hey. What need do you? I-I mean! What-t do you need?" She awkwardly said.

"Wanna have lunch together?"

"O-of course!" She replied. "Great!" He said and grabbed her hand. Her face turned red, she felt as if she was gonna melt. He pulled her towards a Picnic table and they sat down. "So how have you been?" He asked.

"G-great!" She smiled. "That's good."

Marinette started to eat her food, and so did Adrien. "Want a croissant?" Marinette asked him, holding out a croissant. "Cant, my father had me on a strict diet." He sighed. "One croissant won't hurt, it's not like he's gonna know." She said. He smiled and took the croissant from her hand and started to eat it. "Wow, these are really good Marinette."

She smiled and they both finished there food and headed back to the school. Marinette rushed over to Alya, who was talking to Nino. Adrien followed her and they all talked with each other before the bell rang. After a while, the bell had rung and they four teens made there way to class.
