Love in unexpected places

~years later when Tsukishima is in highschool~
~Tenma~
     "Kiddo have you seen karasuno's new kid?" My dad asks passing me a mug of coffee. I take a sip "no should I have?". "Karasuno has labeled him as the next tiny giant and are going to nationals" he has a small smile on his face. I look down at my coffee "I'd have to see for myself but I doubt the rumors are true...". I stand up and walk out of my dads new house. Yet again another move... I don't want to leave dad because he's by himself and I worry about him, ya know like a good kid does. He spent his whole life since I was born focused on me so what's the point in leaving him he's done anything in his power to take care of me.
I walk into a small store farther away from my dads house. "Akiteru?" I hear and so I turn around cus ya know that creepy as hell! I see when I turn around a tall blonde boy with glasses "do I know you?" I ask. "...wow you don't remember me huh?" The boy says. "I'm sorry but I have no clue who you are..." I say. "It's me Tsukishima Kei" he says. "Holy shit you got... tall!" I say. Kei chuckles "well I mean I'm sixteen now, you haven't grown at all you just got a little more filled out I guess". I smile "how's Akiteru?". "He's ok I guess" Kei scratches the back of his neck. I tilt my head to the side "I guess?". "Yea" he says kinda awkwardly. "...did something happen between the two of you?" I ask. "No, nothing happened with us." He says lying through his teeth.
I walk out of the store with Kei with me he asked if I'd go to practice with him so of course I say yes. Being the favorite feels amazing! We walk to his schools gym and I feel so out of place. "I fuckin' hate tall people" I mumble under my breath
