Orion was bored. It was six o'clock in the afternoon and he had nothing to do. He had been watching Young Justice, because Robin was the coolest most inspirational character ever, but even that was getting boring now. He flipped through the channels, uninterested when something caught his eye.

"Great baking championship?" Orion said slowly. "Interesting.."

After watching a few episodes, he had reached his decision. He was born to be a chef.

Orion slid across the shiny hallways in his socks and nearly slammed into his dad's office door. He slowly opened the huge mahogany door and peeked inside. "Heeeey there Dad."

Doc twilight looked over from his papers. "Heeey, there son?" he asked a little suspiciously. "What's up? Why are you in my office?"

Orion hums. "No reason! But actually I was maybe perhaps sort of possibly kind of really sort of wondering.....do you have any cookbooks?"

Doc paused.

"Not for me or anything, I'm not planning on cooking ANYTHING! I swear!" Orion quickly added.
Doc pinches the bridge of his nose. "ABSOLUTELY NOT!" He yells standing up from his chair. "Last time you set fire to the kitchen, spilled the flour and made your sister cry!"

"I have grown and matured!" Orion protested.

Doc flapped around worlessly. "SINCE LAST WEEK?!?"

"Daaaaddd!"

"No! I put my foot down!" Doc said.

"ITS TRUE LOVE!"

"ITS MY SWIRLED MARBLE KITCHEN TABLE!"

"Just for the record, I think we should let him!" Bethany said, walking into his office. She sat cross-legged on top of Doc's fancy desk, crushing a few very important documents.

"Bethany, I really-"

"MOOOOOOOOOOOM! COME DOWN AND GIVE YOUR OPINION!"

Catherine made her way downstairs into Christians office.

"What is all this yelling about?"

"Mom!" Orion said, "I am trying to use a creative outlet to express myself in a healthy way, while also creating a great piece that can be enjoyed by others!"

Catherine nodded. "That sounds nice."

"He wants to bake." Doc deadpanned.

"Oh heck no."

Bethany snickered.

'But...but!" Orion protested, "I'm older than Bethany, and she's allowed within 25 feet of the kitchen!"

"Bethany doesn't clog the sink with dough!" His mom said.

"Okay, that was a mistake i did once-"

"Four times."

"Whatever." Orion said, frowning at the interruption. "I'm just saying that I have learned from my mistakes and am ready to try again!"

Catherine sighed. "Okay, let's discuss."

She yanked Doc into the hallway. Bethany immediately ran and pressed her ear against the closed door.

"Bethany,"' Orion began, "I know we haven't always gotten along. However, the way you stood up for me and believed me against all the haters will not be forgotten." Orion wiped away a tear. "In fact, I just.. This means a lot to me, you know?" he was full on bawling now. "Thank you Beth, you are the most amazing sister I could ever ask for! I will always love you!"
