Before too long, Zach was woken by a bright orange light shining in his face. The Sun.
"Morning, sleepyhead." The Guide said.
"Good morning... ouch, my back." Zach said, when opening his eyes.
"Alright guys, are you ready for me to take you to the huge tree today?" Mike enthusiastically said.
"Well, whatever is more interesting than sitting in the house all night listening to them snore." Bell said, clearly fed up with Zach and the Guide's snoring all night.
The trio set out across the hill, and eventually found the living tree.
"Woah. That IS huge." Zach said in awe.
"Hey, look over there!" Mike said, while pointing to a biome with purple grass and trees.
"Oh boy, I love purple." Bell said.
The trio proceeded to head in the direction of the Corruption. When they arrived, they were greeted by an Eater of Souls.
"Uhh, I don't think we want to be here..." Zach said.
"RETREAT!" Mike said, while running away.
The other two followed suit.
"Phew. That was traumatizing." Zach said when they got home.
"We're going to need better gear. Zach, go get us wood." Bell said.
"Right!"
Zach then went outside to cut down trees. He also replanted some acorns he got.
"Great. Now, be a doll and make some wooden gear." Bell told him.
Zach went over to the workbench, made three sets of wooden armor, a wooden sword, and a wooden bow.
"Uh, hello? I need ARROWS!" Bell demanded.
"I can't make any." Zach replied.
"Yeah, he needs stone to make those." The Guide butted in, "Oh, and by the way, you might want a furnace so you can get glass to make ACTUAL windows."
"Do I have to do everything around here?" Zach wondered.
Zach proceeded to go out and looked around for any stone. He noticed a cave entrance. There was some stone poking out. He went to mine it up. Out of the darkness, a red slime jumped out.
"Ack!" Zach yelped out as he readied his sword. The red slime jumped toward him, but Zach dodged and the red slime hit head first on the wall. Zach stabbed it from behind with his sword and it died.
"Phew, that was close."
Zach then mined up a lot of stone. He then went back home. He got to work making arrows and a furnace.
"Great, now the house is nice and warm!" Mike said, happily.
Zach handed Bell all the arrows.
Zach sat by the furnace, and began drifting off to sleep...
only to be woken up by Bell kicking him.
"Nuh uh, you are not gonna be snoring all night long! Especially not when it's not even night time!" Bell said angrily.
"Well, can you really blame him? He's been working all day, he's probably tired, and the furnace provides a comforting atmosphere." Mike said, while defending Zach.
"Ugh, why does nobody listen to me?! It doesn't even matter!" Bell yelled.
"You're right, it doesn't matter, but it does when it affects our friendship and the strength of the team!" Mike angrily responded.
"God, can you EVER take a joke?!" Bell screamed.
"Would you two just SHUT UP?!" Zach snapped suddenly. "Stop arguing! WE GET IT, Bell is in the wrong, but you don't need to argue to this point! It wasn't a joke and we all know it. You know what? I'm going to the caves. I'll see you later."
Zach ran out and slammed the door behind him, ran to the dark cave, and jumped in.
