Running Miku Meets KeepxOut #2

The date was August 25th, 2021. At gym class in Future Tone High School, the kids were outside racing on the track.

Whistle: Come on, people! Run like you mean it!

Some of the kids were pretty tired, but not Rowan Martin (Running Miku). She loves to run. After a few more minutes of running on the track, Greta called them inside so that they can get to their next class.

KeepxOut #2: Ms. I, I forgot my jacket outside. May I please go get it?

Whistle: Okay, Pierce. But make it fast.

Pierce ran back outside.

Meanwhile, back on the track, Pierce was looking for his jacket. He saw it on the ground.

KeepxOut #2: Ah, there you are.

He grabbed his jacket. But while he was heading back, he saw Rowan still running on the track.

KeepxOut #2: Maybe she didn't hear Ms. I when she called for the kids to come inside.

He ran over to Rowan.

KeepxOut #2: Hey! It's time to come back in the gym!

Rowan slowed down.

Running Miku: What? Did you say something?

KeepxOut #2: I said it's time to come back inside.

Running Miku: Oh, is it? I guess I lost track of time. Thanks. But what are you still doing here?

KeepxOut #2: I forgot my jacket out here.

Running Miku: Oh, okay. I'm Rowan Martin. What's your name?

KeepxOut #2: Pierce Davenport.

Running Miku: Pierce? Okay. Sorry. My ears are not the best.

KeepxOut #2: It's okay. Come on, let's go.

The 2 kids went back to the gym.

Whistle: What was taking you so long?

KeepxOut #2: Sorry, Ms. I. Rowan didn't hear you when you said it's time to leave.

Running Miku: I'm sorry, Ms. I.

Whistle: Oh, it's alright, Ms. Martin. Now go to your next class or you'll be late.

KeepxOut #2: I guess we can talk at lunch or something.

Running Miku: Huh?

KeepxOut #2: Want to talk during lunch?

Running Miku: Oh! Yeah, that sounds good.

And so, the 2 kids left the gym.
