Alone With My Thoughts

I didn't know what I expected Tony to say about my past and how they came to find me but it definitely wasn't this.

"Ok well after the big fight in your home town, you and your siblings got taken by an organization called Hydra. where they kept you locked in these cells and they experimented on you, to try and make you into "soldiers" for their army." Tony said now staring out the window that looked over New York City.

"That would explain my dream." I said quietly hoping that no one would hear me.

"Wait what do you mean your dream?" Steve asked.

"Well when I went to rest last night after you left my room and I fell asleep I had this dream, where I was trapped in this very small room with only a bed."

"Was that all that happened?" Tony asked me sounding very confused.

"Well no." I answered looking down at the floor. "I also heard a girl screaming for someone to let go of her, and then when I woke up I remembered whos voice it was and it was someone with the name Wanda I believe."

"Uh ya so that would be your sisters name." Tony said still looking out the window, "Did you like just totally forget everything or what?" Tony asked turning around and taking a seat on the chair by the fireplace.

"Well no I know i have a brother and a sister but other then that I can only remember one memory from my childhood." I said looking over to Tony.

"Tell us what it is"

*A few minutes later*

"we had all been laughing when Sally had been talking about her date in the show and how it would be better if she showed up late. the very last thing I remember was hearing a deafening bang and everything going black." I finished up telling them my last memory while I had millions of salty tears rolling down my cheeks.

Steve had been standing beside the couch that I was sitting on and saw me crying, he came over and sat beside me and started to rub circles on my back. I had been leaning into my arms crying because I didn't want people to see my crying face. when I noticed that he was rubbing my back I broke out into more tears, I had turned around to hug Steve and started crying into his chest. Every time I was sad or just not having a good day Steve would always find a way to comfort me and I loved having him as my bestfriend.

"Do you think you can handle hearing the rest Rayne?" Steve asked me gently lifting up my chin so I was looking into his eyes.

"I think so"  I said resting my head on Steve's shoulder.

"Ok well i guess ill continue from what you remember" tony said. "So basically after the bombing that hit your house, Hydra had taken you your sister and your brother to their head quarters. There they did a bunch of experiments and that's how you all had gained your "powers"."

" SO YOU GUYS KNEW ALL THIS TIME AND ARE ONLY TELLING ME KNOW IVE ALMOST KILLED YOU GUYS LIKE THREE TIMES CAUSE I CANT CONTROL THEM." i said raising my voice at tony. "and what do you mean our powers Wanda and Pietro have powers to?"

"Well ya that's what I just said." tony said sarcastically. "Wanda has pretty much the same powers as you except hers are red for some reason and well your hyper ass brother has superspeed, anyways continuing after Hydra took you guys when you were 7 and 8 we were sent on a mission by the man himself Nick Furry to go and save all the citizens they were testing on. we knew it would take long but we didn't know it would take 8 years like it did. After we broke into Hydra sadly we were only able to save you and one other person, So we took you here and you've been with us ever since. We have absolutely no clue if your siblings or any of the other ones survived but we are still searching. And that's  it." Tony said still sitting down on the chair.

"Are you still in contact with the other person?" I asked Tony

"Well I mean you've already met him." Tony replied looking over at Bucky.'

"Wait... You were taken by Hydra too?" I said confused pointing at Bucky.

"Ya i got taken when I was on a mission with Steve and they turned me into a super soldier." Bucky said looking right at me.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry." I told Bucky still resting on Steve's shoulder.

After we finished talking about me and Bucky's past we all decided to watch a movie so we decided on Steve's favorite movie Mega Mind I'm not exactly sure why he liked this movie but once again he was kind of strange.  Tony only watched half the movie cause he got to bored. while Natasha sat on the love seat and Bucky sat on the chair Steve and I sat on the long couch while i still rested on his shoulders because i was still very upset. I must have fallen asleep on Steve's shoulder because when i woke up i was in my bed. 

I woke up all snuggled in my blankets in my own room I kind of got freaked out because I didn't recognize where i was at first but after I realized where I was I went down to the kitchen to get some water even though it was 1:00 in the morning. As I walked down the hallway I noticed that the kitchen lights were on. I thought to myself that it was Probably Sam because the only time he's ever really awake and active is usually EARLY in the morning. But when I got closer I realized that it was Bucky.

"Oh hey I didn't think anyone else would be up" I said with a groggy voice and rubbing my eyes.

"Someone looks tired" Bucky chuckled while sitting down on one of the barstools.

I grabbed a cup out of the cupboard and filled it up with water from the fridge. after I filled up my cup I went and took a seat beside Bucky.

"What are you doing up anyways" I asked Bucky while i took a sip of my water.

"Couldn't sleep that's all."

"Oh okay." 

we didn't talk after that, it wasn't an awkward silence it was more of a comfortable silence i felt very safe around Bucky even though i had pretty much just met him. After about ten more minutes i got up out of my chair and put my cup into the sink. 

"Hey im gonna head to bed, see you tomorrow." I told Bucky as i headed to the hallway.

"Okay have a good sleep." 

"You too!" i yelled back at Bucky as i headed the stairs to my room.

*Bucky's POV*

I tried to sleep but I kept having the nightmares again, so I went down to the kitchen and just sat their with my own thoughts. I heard someone coming down the stairs but I didn't seem to care cause I was just to focused on my thoughts. 

"Oh hey I didn't think anyone else would be up" The short brown haired girl said as she entered the kitchen.

"Someone looks tired" I told her as I snapped out of my thoughts but know just thinking about her.

she  grabbed a cup out of the cupboard but she was a bit to short and could barely reach the cupboard, I was hoping she would ask me for help but she didn't she just filled it up with water from the fridge and then came and sat down beside me.

"What are you doing up anyways" She asked me while she took a sip from her water

"Couldn't sleep that's all."

"Oh okay." 

After a while we said goodnight she went up to her room but I stayed in the kitchen once again alone with just my thoughts. I thought about how beautiful she looks even when she just woke up at 1:00 in the morning. I thought to myself how stupid it was to think about her like that because we had just met but i just couldn't stop. After a while I went to the living room and just decided to sleep in the living room tonight.
