Realization (chapter 1)

I was so excited to tell my father about my test scores maybe this time he would be proud of me. I arrived home the Weasley's, Hermione, Remus, Tonks and of course my father ( Sirius Black) were there. "Dad I got 100 in my owl's!" I said excitedly. "Not now y/n Harry is coming over," He responded. "Oh ok," I said. "I feel bad for her," Hermione commented. "Same," Ron responded. "Quiet down your going to make her feel worse," Molly told Ron and Hermione. I look down at the floor holding back tears. 'What's wrong," My father said while sounding annoyed. "Could I be the one that you care about so much some day?" He just stared at me blankly that's when I got the courage to say something that I never thought I could say.

"Chose," I said. "What?" He said sounding confused. "I said chose, chose me or Harry you decide," I responded. "Don't make me chose between you and Harry," He said. "Why cause you'll chose Harry?" I asked. "Don't you dare Sirius!!" Molly yelled. "Think about what you are going to say before you say something you'll regret," Remus warned Sirius. "Yeah I'll chose Harry," Sirius responded without hesitation. That was the moment I realized there was nothing I could do or say to make my father love me, his daughter.
