"The ball is next week!" Estelle excitedly greeted Aedra as they passed in the halls, and the two smiled greatly.

"Ahh I wonder who we are gonna see there!" Aedra nor Estelle had ever been to a ball this huge, so they were in for a surprise when the time finally came by.

"One thing I'm not excited about is if we get set up with anyone." Rolling her eyes, Aedra agreed. One thing about being royal was that you don't have too much of a choice regarding love.

Arriving at the breakfast table, it came to a minor surprise seeing that they happen to be first. Trying not to laugh, Estelle and Aedra began talking quietly to one another before others started to enter.

"Oh ya, I forgot if we asked if you two are coming to the ball. I would assume so but still." Estelle shrugged as she gestured her fork to the section in which Kian and Sebastian sat.

"I mean, I don't see why we wouldn't. We live in the castle and have power, so yes. We will be attending." Kian sounded as if he couldn't care less, not putting in the effort to look up from his food.

Aedra couldn't help but scoff hearing Kians revolting voice. Everything about him disgusted her, she couldn't care less that he "protected" her. Honestly, she regretted apologizing, she didn't owe him anything, especially sympathy or kindness.

I awake, yawning as Diablo, my cat, kneads his paws and purrs on my chest. Two Siamese cats who thought of themselves as royalty kept me company through many difficult times, but they could be annoying as hell. Slipping off the crimson red bed sheets that had elegantly covered me though the cold nights, I slipped on my slippers that one of the servants had prepared for me and walked over to my desk.

"Where is it?" I mumbled under my breath, annoyed as I rummaged through a drawer to finally find the key. Turning the silver key to reveal a book, I smirked. If my plan goes accordingly, I can get rid of that burden they call Kieran.

I reviewed, although I had memorized, my plan. Nothing could go wrong. This was, in fact, for multiple reasons. I have been working on this plan for months, and thought of every bad event, or events, that could happen, and found a way around all of them. This also could not fail because I could have my reputation ruined, or my life ruined, even if I wasn't caught. I just had to kill him. No waiting around, it had to be done as soon as possible, and the ball was the perfect opportunity that could not be surpassed.

Hearing an elegant knock on my door, I shuffled around, trying to remove any evidence I was writing in that notebook.

"Miss, you have a visitor. You may want to get some presentable clothes, I will bring someone to help."

Confused and still tired, I walked to my mirror, fixing up my appearance before a sweet servant assisted me in getting ready for this visitor.

After thanking her, I left my room to see what was so big of a deal. That's when I felt a sense of darkness swarm over me, engulfing me in my own hatred. There he was, that mother fucker Keiren.

"Ah, hello gorgeous, miss me?" That evil smirk that laid on his face was enough to make me enraged. Oh I can't wait to kill that bastard.

The ball that had taken up the sisters' thoughts began approaching quite steadily. Not many worthwhile events had occurred leading up to the day before the ball, although Estelle and Liams' relationship seemed to fade more into a friendship than a romantic one. There was nothing wrong with either of the two, they just seemed to not have a romantic interest in one another, but as friends they enjoyed each other's company to the fullest.

The group containing Aedra, Estelle, Liam, and Louis grew closer and spent some nights laughing until they felt as if they couldn't manage to find the oxygen needed to breathe.

"I still can't believe the ball is tomorrow," Estelle dazed off thinking of what the occurring event would be like, and as Liam nodded, she continued. "Oh ya, wonder if you'll find anyone that you take a romantic interest to." Bumping into Liam and laughing, Estelle mentioned this knowing the two had no romantic feelings for one another.

"Keep it down!" Liam looked around as if worried people would hear and tease the two before continuing. "I mean... who knows, that would most likely cause complications, but still, part of me wants to meet someone there." Estelle couldn't help but smile uncontrollably and tease Liam about a love life, knowing how embarrassed he got. It was all fun and games until the tables were turned to asking about her love life.

"You keep teasing me about my love life, but what about you? I can't help but feel there is something going on between you and Sebastian."

Heat swarmed the girls cheeks and she could feel that Liam noticed. Stuttering whilst trying to form a sentence, Liam took this opportunity to get revenge.

"Haha, looks like I'm not the only one who gets nervous. Now it's obvious. So, any clue of how he feels?"

"I don't like him, I just think that he is a good person, even when he doesn't show it and acts stupidly." Estelle slowed her speaking before jumping back to reality. "Oh, look at that! Gotta go see if there has been any suspicious activity and check in with the guards!"

Tsk. Liam shook his head and laughed under his breath before deciding he would patrol on a stallion from the stables.

As he strode through the halls, Liam began thinking about the conversation him and Estelle had in the halls.

I'll find someone I have a romantic interest in?

Why was this confusing me? Why did those words make me feel a weird, uneasy feeling? I shouldn't think much of it. She was just referring to a fine looking woman that I find attractive and want to date, my mind is just being weird making me rethink that question.

As the redhead fastened his shoelaces, a young man with shaggy hair passed by and waved to him with a bright smile.

Da dump , da dump .

For an unknown reason, Liam found himself speechless, and did not wave back. Instead, he found himself sitting in shock.

Woah his hair was pretty...

The male seemed not able to get the stable worker out of his head, and was distracted with the thoughts of this man in his head. Through the loud galloping of the mystical steed, nothing but fantasies could be heard.
