*one year later*

The current Hashiras were all together for their annual six month meeting.

They would assume that it would be the usual. Which was talking about the amount of demons and the 12 Kizuki yadada.....

Yeah..........they were wrong.

"Hey, where is Sora? I thought she'd be here." Sabito nudged Makomo, who giggled.

"Sabito, Sora decided not to be a Hashira a while ago, remember?" Giyuu deadpanned.

The pink-haired male blushed slightly and told him to shut up.

"Ara~Ara~ Makomo was right. Sabito really does enjoy Sora's company." Kanae pointed out with a smile.

Sabito tried to disagree with her but Kanae continued, "But, you'll have to deal with Hinotori if you want to have a relationship with Sora."

She, and one other Hashira flinched at the name 'Hinotori'

"Eh? Why?" Makomo asked curiously.

Kanae sighed, "Hinotori is quite protective of her Tsugoku, not only that but, she can go a little overboard when she trains with the other Hashira."

Sabito mentally groaned at the new information but his thoughts halted when he heard the familiar voice, "Oyakata-Sama has arrived."

Immediately, all of the Hashira bowed their heads in deep respect.

"I'm glad that you have all come to this meeting, my beloved children."

The Hashiras kept their heads bowed.

Oyakata looked up to the sky and smiled. Then, with the help of his children, sat down at the front of the porch.

"This semiannual meeting will be different, as I'm pleased to say that the Phoenix Hashira has decided to meet you all."

Everyone except Kanae and Himejima looked up at him in shock.

'The great Phoenix Hashira.....is real?'

Suddenly, they heard a loud screech and they jerked their heads up, to see a falcon gliding down to Oyakata-Sama.

The man lifted his right arm and the falcon gently perched on it.

It flapped its wings a few times before lifting up its left leg, showing a piece of paper tied to it.

One of the girls unwrapped the paper and patted the falcon's head.

Then she read from the paper, "I apologize but I will be late for this semiannual Hashira Meeting. I should arrive in about ten minutes after Hiroto passes you this message. With deep respect, Hinotori."
