Shiyuki's POV

"Listen here! My name is Uzumaki Naruto! I will never lose to you bastards!!" The blonde that Hinata likes screams.

What on the earth? What is this fool doing?

Every single person in the room gives him a hastile look.

"He's very spirited. Perhaps you underestimated him, Lee." Neji talks.

Suddenly, a Sound ninja attacks a white-haired Leaf ninja. The white-haired can dodge that punch, but then he vomits.

"Kabuto-san! Are you alright?" Sakura yells.

"Lee, how's his attack?" Neji continues to judge the others.

"Not so good. There must be some tricks."

"QUIET DOWN, YOU WORTHLESS BASTARDS!!"
And the judgers pop in.
Here they go.

The first round of the Chunin exam has started. I skim read the questions. Are these written in alien's language??
Okay, I understand. I understand that I can't understand anything in this paper. Having read tons of book and I still don't know how to solve these. I have to use my Ice Style technic to cheat. My teammates definitely have their ways to deal with them. Neji has the Byakugans, Tenten must be using some tools to cheat and share with Lee.

"Ice Style: Crystal Ice Mirror!!"
I release a tiny mirror on my eraser to copy the participant behind me's work.

45 minutes has passed.
We have finished all nine questions, or have finished cheating in other words...
The tenth query arrives.

"If anybody doesn't want to take this question, please raise your hand, then your whole team will leave this exam. If you withdraw, you can come back next year. But incorrect answer and you will lose your right to take the Chunin selection exam again and be a genin forever.

Some teams have left. They must have played safe.

I know that Naruto is a fool with the declaration he made earlier, but he is not the type that will give up.
But to my surprise, he raises his hand.

Hits the desk.

"Don't you dare underestimate me...!!! I will never run! I'll take it! What's wrong with being a eternal genin?! I still have my way to become Hokage, so I don't care! I'm not afraid!!"

That's the spirit. I feel a lot more confident now.

"Are you sure?"
"I will never take back my words! That's my ninja way!!"

Just like me, the rest of the participants have a confident smile on their faces. No one raises his hand anymore. Bring the question here, judger!

"Anybody remaining... Has passed round 1!"

Tenten's POV

Gate number 41.

We entered the Death Forest as the second round began. It's gloomy here. We discuss what action to take, then agree to go for the scroll when the night falls. Neji has his left arm wounded, and Shiyuki offers to heal it.

"Give me your injured arm, please."

"I don't need you to heal me." He coldly answers.

I sigh. Again? Just don't fight now, we're in an exam! We are a team, right? Be patient!
Shiyuki doesn't care what he says, just snatches his arm and heal him. Neji seems to be annoyed, but he doesn't fight against her.

"Why are you so pig-headed?"
Her eyes are saying something. I see care and love in her eyes, but those emotions are overwhelmed by the feeling of sad and self-pity. How can you put up with his attitude, Shiyuki? If I were you, I would've given up for a while now!

Neji told us to scout, then gather at the point he had marked with his kunai. Me, Shiyuki and Neji are back here. Where's Lee?

"Lee's late!"

"He is the most punctual... But why?" Shiyuki frowns worriedly.

"Maybe he is confronting with some enemies?"

"No way." Neji smiles. "Let's find him."

Shiyuki's POV

We arrive to see that our buddy has been defeated. His ear is bleeding. Poor him.

"The good-for-nothing Sound ninja like you just victimized some rockies, and you're as proud as a peacock."

"Hmph, the pests are appearing consistently." A Sound ninja says.

"You made a huge mistake," Neji continues. "when you mistreated our kappa buddy like this. NOW PAY FOR IT!!" He is so angry that he activates this Byakugans.

I can feel his wave of anger. He's sooooooo cooooooooooollllllll!!!

"Stop it, or else I won't go easy."

Prepare yourselves, Sound ninjas!! This is the prodigy of the reputable Hyuga Clan of our village! Do it, just do it. I want to see you fight!! Neji go for it!!

"Stop boasting, come down here." He hegdehod-like Sound ninja dares.

Fight him, Neji! To take revenge for Lee! He's even more attractive when fighting!
