Chapter Eighteen - Filler

Omega's POV

"Hey, come on. Let's go." Linda lightly pat me on the shoulder and stood up, grabbing her unfinished drink and purse from the table. "We need to go to my school."

"What?" I asked, bewildered. "Why do we need to go to school. I'm the prince of the Void, I think I'm pretty much done with school."

Linda sighed. "No, Percy," she said. She pointed to her head, and rolled her eyes. "Use your brain. I need to go there to look at school records. It's important."

"Isn't the school supposed to be closed by now?" I asked.

"Yeah, but I have a special card." She grabbed my hand and started to drag me through the doors. "We need to get to Goode High School."

"Goode High?!"

"Oh no, where is it?"

Currently, we were standing outside in the school parking lot. We drove all the way here, thinking that Linda already had her "special card" in her purse, but in actuality, she had lost it.

In the car.

And now, I was stuck in the backseat of the car while Linda was in the front seats, rummaging through the bags of chips and water bottles (Linda said that Jordan had left them there) trying to find the mystery card.

Yet through all this, I still don't know what it looked like. So every time I found something that looked different from the trash that was in this car, I had to ask Linda if it was the card or not. Repeatedly. Because there was a lot of weird stuff down here.

"Found it!" Linda suddenly cried out. "I found it!"

I quickly lifted my head up to look at Linda, but immediately, I bumped my head into the seat.

"Ow."

Linda had already kept walking, but turned around and yelled at me. "Quit lollygagging, Percy. It's almost time for my curfew!"

"What does lollygagging even mean?" I yelled back.

Luke's/ Beta's POV (At the time when Percy left)

After Percy ditched and left the campers and gods dumbfounded, the Elite crew looked at each other awkwardly.

I didn't know Percy had it in him to be so scary. He had never yelled at us before and even if he wanted to tell us to do something, he spoke normally and we followed his directions, because, well, he was the Prince of the Universe. This side of his only came out whenever he was "meeting up" with somebody in the universe.

And by "meeting up," I mean that he assassinated them. It was a fun job.

Should we follow him? Zoe MMed.

He seems really mad right now. Beckendorf answered. Are you sure we should follow him?

Let's not. Thalia broke in. I've known him long enough to know when he needs space. And this is one of those moments.

But what about our mission? I said. If he's not here, who's going to be in charge?

Me and Sky will take care of it, Jason answered. 

For now though, Silena said. Let's have fun! Percy's not here right now so we should take advantage of it. Let's do something tonight! 

Silena smiled and mouthed, "Party?"

Let's get out of here, first. Bianca MMed after she saw Silena. The campers are staring at us.

I looked at the gods and campers and saw that Bianca was right. Everybody was looking back and forth between us, trying to see what we talking about. It was a good thing we had our cloaks on.

"What are you looking at?" Nico said. 

"Come on." Thalia said, looking at us. "Let's leave. They disrespected our leader. We don't need to be in such close distance with this scum." 

We walked towards the entrance foors and got up in a formation. Jason snapped his fingers, casting that familiar dark light around us again. We didn't turn around, and when we were almost going to disappear, I raised up two fingers beside my shoulder.

"Peace."

The more dramatic, the better.

Okay, so this is a really short chapter, and I'm sorry, but I have a lot of tests and I can't get a rest and if I fail, my parents will literally kill me. 

I'm going to be working on the next chapter though, so don't worry. I swear, it's going to be longer than this one. 

I named this chapter Filler, because it's the truth. This chapter is a filler, and I know you guys might agree with me too. There's nothing that important in here, and i could've just written this in the next chapter, but I'm lazy and I felt guilty about not updating for a month. Which I probably will do again. :(
