Disclaimer: I don't own Percy Jackson Rick Riordan does. Except Percy's sister.
When I heard Percy was hurt, I immediately ran off as fast as I could to the Infirmary."Hi sis." He choked. I stared at my dear loving brother in shock. He laid on the bed looking paler than Nico."Percy. What happened to you?" I whispered."I......took.......a......spear...through..my...chest.........protecting......Annabeth." He coughed."I know I haven't been around in a year. But please one more time take my hand." I half sung half cried."I will, but I have one final request." He answered."What is your request brother?" I asked."Tell people about me, keep the legend alive please, I'm sorry I was not able to give you your birthday present, and go to Olympus, dcre that Percy Jackson has died." He told me."I will protect your memory till the day I die, brother and rest in peace." I sobbed. Closing his eyes, he died. The great Percy Jackson was dead.
I ran out of the Infirmary crying. I stopped, collected myself and walked to the Stables. They were quieter than usual, but at the same time more respect was in the air and it seemed to hang around one particular Pegasus. It was blazing white with golden hooves. I read the nameplate in front of the stall,"Pegasus. Lord of flying horses.' It read. Then it hit me, this was Pegasus my older, very older brother! "Pegs can you take me up to Mt.Olympus?" I asked." Of course little sister.' answered a slightly deep voice that held a thousand years of wisdom. On the way up to Olympus, a thought ran through my mind. "What if I met my other brothers?" I asked myself. For all I knew I had two more brothers to meet; Orion and Theseus. We entered the throne room together because Pegs refused to leave my side."I have something to say." I announced. Thinking nobody heard me because the gods were still bickering."QUIET!!!!" I shouted at the top of my lungs." As I said before I have something to say." I repeated myself again." Today October 5, 2015, Percy Jackson died from a spear through the chest protecting Annabeth Chase. May he be remembered as a loving brother, friend, best friend, boyfriend, son, nephew, cousin, and student. I have promised on the river Styx and Chaos to protect my brothers memory till the day I draw my final breath the day I die." I read off the scroll.

I remembered Percy telling me once that Riptide's first owner was Hercules and that Riptide's original form was a hair clip and that Riptide's creator was Zoë Nightshade the former lieutenant of Artemis, daughter of Atlas, and that Riptide held Zoë's immortal power inside of it. I realized what Percy meant in the note; he wanted me to return Riptide to Zoë Nightshade.
