Late Night Kisses

(A/N Hey guys! Harry and Draco (as well as a few others) have come back for their 8th year of Hogwarts. Feel free to correct me in the comments!!)

It was a Saturday evening in January, and Draco was down in the 8th year common room, watching snowflakes fall down outside the window he was sat by. A fire crackled and burned in the fireplace underneath the ornately decorated mantle. A tear slid slowly down his face...

"Draco?" A voice asked, making Draco jump.

"Go away, Potter." He spat, turning away from Harry, making sure that his tears couldn't be seen.

"Are you...crying?" Harry's voice was gentle, but questioning.

"Go. Away."

"Nope." He said, sitting down on the seat next to him. "Come on. Talk to me."

"Why do you even care? You hate me, I hate you. It's been the same way for seven years." Draco was slightly confused. Why did Harry even care?

"I don't hate you," Harry whispered wiping the tears off of Draco's face, "And I'm pretty sure that you don't hate me either. I mean, you stare at me every day. It's kinda obvious."

Draco sighed. He had finally caught on. Finally. "Took you long enough." Harry laughed, a soft acausing Draco to be even more confused.

"Oh Draco," Harry chuckled, "I've known since 4th year." Harry leaned in and brushed his lips over Draco's.

The blond grabbed the other boy's face and kissed him passionately. Harry pulled away, one hand on Draco's shoulder, the other on his waist.

"I like you Draco." Harry whispered "Like, like like you. I have since 2nd year."

"Well I like like you too. And have since I first laided eyes on you."

Harry smiled warmly, finally happy, for the first time in who knows how long. Draco beamed affectionately back at him, the happiest he had ever felt in his life.

They moved around, so that Draco was curled up on Harry's lap, which is how they eventually fell asleep in the early hours of Sunday morning.

And how the rest of the 8th year students found them when the woke, much to the surprise of most. Pansy and Hermione however, shared a secret smile before pushing through the crowds to wake the two lovers.
