High school: girls, boys, class, grades, sports, stress, success, friends, love. Love! Olivia is a freshman. "New school, new me" is her motto for 9th Grade. Two weeks in, and she already has five contenders for her perfect match. She hasn't gone into high school expecting some tall, Finnish blonde to sweep her off her feet, so when it did happen, she was quite taken aback, yet no distaste was felt. Wait until she meets the other four!

9th Grade, day 18:

"Bye, honey," Mama Rodrigo cooed as she shuffled me out the door. I got off the bus, and the harsh Outer Banks wind ruffled my feathers. I was walking into Mrs. Danni's classroom when two long arms wrapped sound my waist. A raspy, deep voice that sounded as if it was talking through the North Shore High intercom croaked, "Blaire, you didn't think you could escape me this morning did you." His icy fingers brushed across my warm flesh. His words danced in my placid ears. And his presence made my largest organ tingle (my skin). "Cmon' Waldorf, turn around; why so shy now?" I was frozen, but my cheeks were not cold. He grabbed me, and in one fell swoop, I was hoisted up into the arms, met by the eyes of Draco Lucius Malfoy. Ella M. and I had been talking for ages; our reunion was a serendipitous act of universal fate. Her brother was nutritious for dating around. He's a bad guy, no denying it. But I couldn't help acknowledge the butterflies of "being his" even if he mistook me for an upper east sider.

Ugh, I wouldn't say I like school. But at least it's religion, right? "Maxon, will you please..." Mrs. Danni commands. Ew! My Mom's favorite little boy who recently moved in next door, and ever since, I have not wanted to leave the door. He is perfect. Unquestionably flawless... to my mother. He brings her cookies and mows the lawn. I used to carpool with him, a 3-day affair, until I gained some conscience and took the bus! He brought thank you cards to all the teachers after spring concerts, and my dearest mummy could not stop comparing me to that stuck-up, too-good, prick of a son that just happens to be gorgeous and kind.

"Hey JJ, Louis! How are my best buds?" I asked. "Just fine, how's our main man?" JJ prompted. We slid skin (dapped each other up) and created a trifecta formation where I was under the arms of the high school president and the resident bad boy. When we got to Math my seat had changed, and now I'm next to Leo, my childhood crush!? God, it's brutal out here.

Dear Dad,

I love you that's it. Happy Birthday, you are going to move mountains.

LOL, (Lots Of Love)

Julian D.
