Jeremy's POV
The guards burst through the door and grabbed Max and I. We struggle against the guards's strong grip but to no avail.
The guards drag us through the door and down a hallway which seemed like forever until we reached two rooms. One guard put me in one room and the other guard put Max in the other room. He made me sit down on a wooden bench and brought my parents in the room. I was surprised to see them.
"Jeremy!" Mom cried, "It feels like it's been days since we've seen you!"
"Mom?" I asked.
"Yes?" Mom Replied.
"Both Max and I have been reaped," I said.
"How does that have any relevance at all?" Mom asked.
"One of us won't come out alive," I replied," Only one can win the Hunger Games, One of us will have to kill the other." That word tasted bitter in my mouth, especially because it's put together with the name Max, my friend." I can't kill my friend." I started crying.
The guard came in and grabbed my parents and dragged them out. They struggle but can't escape the guards powerful grip.
"Mom!" I cry, But she is pulled through the doorway and she didn't respond.
Max's POV
Jeremy and I get pushed into different rooms as we struggle to hold onto each other.
The guard that pushes me into the room makes me sit on a wooden bench and another guard pushes the rest of my family in. I raise my eyebrows in surprise.
"Sophie!" I practically screamed.
"Maxy!"Sophie said in her baby voice.
"Sophie," I said in confidence," I'm gonna win this for you." I smiled.
Mom and Dad came over and hugged me like it was going to be the last they ever will have with me. Which it probably will be the last hug I ever get.
A tear streaked down my cheek as the guards pulled them out of the room.
Jeremy's POV
Max and I were pulled out of our rooms and shoved down the hallway. We didn't try to get away because we already know how strong the guards were and we didn't know where to go.
We were brought to a green train. I wonder how you make a train in minecraft or if you use minecarts how would you make them green?
The guard brought me to my mentor, David Miller.
David told what being a tribute of the Hunger Games was like. He had been a tribute before and that's why he was a mentor. Mentor were supposed to tell current tribute great skills to use, and the big skill he told me was to use bows for attack because the prey might not be able to see you like If you were using a sword, and use sword for defense because if you use a bow it slows down your attack and you need a fast attack if you are up close to you opponent.
After he told me about some good skills and after we got off the train, he showed me where my room was.
In the morning, Went to the dresser me so I could get on the wagon and get some fans. The dresser decided on the farmer style. I felt like and idiot but did not show any aggression toward the dresser.
"Remember too smile and wave," He said, "it's a great way to get fans. We went to get onto the wagon when someone pushed right in front of Max.
"Hey, farmer boy, get outta here, your gonna lose first," he said Ina deep voice then grunted. Max glared at him then the he ran away.
